Well, Fox still owns the rights to 21st Century Fox, I'd laugh if they turned around and started a new studio.

All of a sudden I think Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet are going to have a bigger side effect on the multiverse than previously thought.
Snikt.
(Although if I’m going to be honest, I wish a X-Men: Onslaught would cap off the Fox X-Men/FF-Verse with the simultaneous actions of Thanos/Onslaught forcing the worlds to unite into one.)

I wouldn't be surprised at all if they quietly write and film something for Avengers 4 that alludes to Mutants being a thing.

Could've sworn he said he'd come back to the character if he showed up in the MCU. I recall that months-to a year ago as well, but just as most recent he's said he's done. I love Hugh but it'd make little sense across the board. Does it need to make sense? I feel like they will at least give it a shot to get Hugh to come back. I think most people can understand that the Fox Xmen aren’t in the same universe as the MCU so wouldn’t be that big of a deal

So technically, Disney now owns the Simpsons and Family Guy..
That's crazy >.<

Hugh would be pushing 52. He'd be a very short-term investment.

I’m not motivated enough to read through 18 pages of this thread, so could someone tell me if this means Disney can finally release the original theatrical versions of the Star Wars trilogy on Blu Ray now?

If it goes through they would not need permission from fox to release any of the first 6 Star Wars Movies.
which they would have up until 2020 for all but the Original... which was owned in perpetuity by Fox.

I would love to lay my VHS copies to rest... everytime I watch them I live in fear of them dying.

Disney now has even more material to create the greatest fighting game of all time. I demand X-Men DLC for Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite. , That was one of my first thoughts, besides us getting a good Fantastic Four movie (and, you know, the major antitrust issues and monopolization and all of that). With all the guff Marvel got for keeping the X-Men out of MvC, they're definitely getting a DLC release sooner than later.

Again I wouldn't be entirely surprised if the roster was a Capcom thing.

It's the main reason I didn't buy it if they give us the X-Men I'll probably get it.

If I remember they said something like 'no one really wanted the X-Men anyway' Yeah some stupid BS about "characters are just functions blah blah blah". Like sorry not everyone is some hardcore player with frame rate data who just wants a good anti air cancel or some shit. The vast majority just wants to see Wolvie yell out BESERKER BARRAGE and feel satisfaction to play as our favorite characters based on who they are.

Yeah that was it....them saying that BS is why I canceled my preorder for Infinite and bought the HD remaster of Fate of Two Worlds instead.
