Idk though, I think Disney is willing to match it easily.

F4 and X-Men rights still non transferable tho, right? That’s all I care about, as long as I can see Magneto, Doctor Doom and Galactus in the MCU. And a better version of Apocalypse would be great.

Hard to say. Avi Arad brokered those deals, and he's notoriously shit at just about everything. I don't doubt Marvel getting their characters back, but they may have to fight harder to get them.

Idk though, I think Disney is willing to match it easily. Matching it isn’t why it complicates things. Just like the Disney bid, it has to be put together, it has to be shown through to shareholders and voted on to be compared to Disney’s with figuring out which one is better for them. And that’s even before the government’s own standard checks and balances on this stuff which hasn’t started with Disney’s deal yet. Hence, the process’ll take longer and hence the deal won’t be completely done by their own estimated next Summer bid. And sort of theorising with Comcast’s own intentions (conspiracy: They brought NBC Universal because they want to compete with Disney after they rejected a takeover in 2004/5), it’ll make the Marvel rights harder to get.
