I just want Phase 4 of the MCU to be Fantastic Fant4stic, if you weeeel No. Keep that shitty reboot far away from the MCU.

Will Disney get ownership of the Simpsons???
That might bring me back to it.

They'd also hold the Mary Tyler Moore universe's rights in their hands. (as well as other MTM shows...though St. Elsewhere probably made them ALL interlinked)
Would they go back to all the MTM logos and replace Mimsie with Simba?

Would this allow Disney to restore the original SW movies? It would. At present Fox have the distribution rights to Episodes I-VI through until 2020, so Disney cannot release their own set of any kind until then. However, as A New Hope was part-financed by Fox they hold its distribution rights in perpetuity, so even if Disney don't buy Fox outright they'll still have to cut some sort of deal just to be able to release a complete set of SW films.

God I hope not, I prefer the Foxverse (Fan4stic & Origins aside aside) to the MCU.

I like the MCU, I tend to prefer the TV shows than the movies though. I hope some of the big name teams/brands they do a TV series with instead.
Fantastic 4 movies suck. But I actually think a slower paced, 12 episode F4 series would be pretty shit hot. Same as Deadpool, I enjoyed the Deadpool movie but he seems like a character taylor-made for a TV series.

On one hand, I think it'd be easier for the Muppet Babies to finally get an official DVD release, since Disney owns them but FOX owns many of the movies they used to reference. On the other hand, Disney is already an overpowered bloated behemoth of a company, and I'd despise seeing them get even more power.

Disney have re-opened negotiations and a deal could be reached by the end of the month.

If the deal gets done, I hope they wipe it all out to start over except Deadpool. Have him be the homage to the previous series as he can be aware that it existed.

I wonder if Disneys persistence with this has anything to do with Singers recent "hiatus"

I want this to happen. Especially considering it would reduce Rupert Murdoch's toxic media presence.

So would Disney really need to make their own independent streaming service. If this purchase passes through, they'd own a 60% majority of Hulu.

Hey!
Still disgusting and disturbing.
If that AT&T Time Warner merger is having trouble getting approved, how the f*** is this one okay?

Please. Anyone but Disney. Think that proposed New Mutants trilogy and X Force movie still happen?
