Isn’t Sasha the linear champion now? Can only be lost one-on-one... Which kind of calls into question some of these 24/7 defenses that are counted here, because some of them may ostensibly have been defended in multi-man matches and thus the linear championship may be out of the 24/7 lineage. By how I count things for 24/7 matches in the points rankings, I count it as an opponent specifically physically engaging with a champion with the intent of winning the belt, in a segment that ends with a successful fall. EDIT: As it turns out, all it does it take out a Bo Dallas (he won it in a multi-person "match" with Curtis Axel, The Singh Brothers and Gran Metalik) and Drake Maverick reign from September 3 before being absorbed right back in there because Maverick loses it one-on-one to R-Truth anyway.

There is a Linear Championship Twitter feed (Linear_WWEChamp) that has decided to not include 24/7 activity, therefore they recognise Elias as the current Linear Champion.

Yeah, I was wondering how this linear championship can only be defended in 1v1 matches, but somehow 24/7 defenses (which is basically a never ending multi man match consisting of all 7+ billion people on Earth) are causing the title to change.

Yeah, I was wondering how this linear championship can only be defended in 1v1 matches, but somehow 24/7 defenses (which is basically a never ending multi man match consisting of all 7+ billion people on Earth) are causing the title to change. Because unlike in all other multiman matches the only way to win is to beat the actual champion. No one else is actually competing with each other which is the only reason multiman matches have been excluded all these years (that the champion could lose by not losing). To treat the 24/7 rules different (in that gimmick are allowed....but suddenly not for this? and that the champion has to be beaten to lose....so it fits every requirement) would only be because the people tracking it are being lazy and inconsistent with their rulings. A 24/7 match is more like a hardcore match that just goes on forever really. I can't see a real reason not to track it.

I don't think we should settle for just including titles.
We need the linear versions of the following:
Mark Henry's World's Strongest Man nickname Kane's second mask (2003) Ownership of WWE The porcelain duck from WCW The right to marry Lita (since that was sadly a feud that happened) The custody of Dominick Mysterio The 30th entrant in the Royal Rumble Shawn Michaels' contract with JBL The managerial services of Stacy Keibler The right to have the letter "T" in one's name
