Where the hell did that come from? Just with zero prompting for a match he has nothing to do with Bryan just suddenly cuts quite possibly the best promo of his life. That was bizarrely great.

Remember when people thought that Bryan was going to struggle in WWE due to his promo skills?

(2014) Please make Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar a match.
(2017) Please do not make Daniel Bryan vs. Brock Lesnar a match.

Daniel is dead set on returning to the ring but the dude could as easily manage someone like Gable if he's gonne bring that type of fire...

Don't get me wrong. We as fans would like the match. But with Bryan's brain and neck all beat up and mushy. Plus he just had a kid. I don't think we want to see him die in the ring in 2017.

Considering sources including Bryan himself on a podcast have been saying recently he's fully cleared by doctors to wrestle again and the only reason he hasn't been put back in is because the WWE is scared of the PR and the off chance something could happen anyway, I don't see why it this match couldn't happen. The only reason I don't want it to happen is that all of Brock Lesnar's matches for the last several years have sucked horribly.

Multiple people have gone on record saying Brock's one of the easiest guys they've ever worked with. Stone Cold or Foley can't remember which said he's a Teddy Bear that makes everything look vicious.

I bet Bryan had the promo on his head since 2014 to use in his feud against Brock Not bad for a guy with a "melted brain"

It was a good promo but somehow made it less by the poor reaction from the crowd. It's like they didn't know how to react at someone crapping on Brock. Even AJ had trouble getting a rise out of them when he talked about Brock.

It was awesome. With AJ being similar in size to Bryan, it really allowed Bryan to cut that promo from a place he relates to. That kicked ass.

To be fair though, they would have faced him in his first run rather than his Suplex City lazy ass run that he has going now. It's possible he's still safe, Undertaker notwithstanding but I wouldn't want Bryan in the ring with current Lesnar. I did love AJ's remark about how he could talk for himself because he wasn't a puppet like Brock.

I wouldn't want Brock vs. Bryan. Not because of bumps or safety, but because Lesnar probably won't f***ing put him over.

No thanks. Let Brock get through this Reigns bullshit they are building to, and then ship his ass away for good. In no way should Daniel f***ing Bryan be fed to or even in the same ring as that waste of space.

That Cena match at Summerslam probably looked worse than it did but you are still getting dropped on your neck and back. Cena bumping the way he did had me like ouch after his history of neck issues Also I didn't want Lesnar/Bryan when Bryan was champ and I sort of don't want it now. Punk looked fairly small next to Lesnar but they were able to make that compelling. Don't get me wrong I think they can make a match and feud good enough to make it seem like Bryan has a chance but if Lesnar was willing to play ball a straight up match between them a few years ago could have blown the roof off

Even if you remove the problems of German suplexes being f***ing awful for someone with Bryan's history no matter how you cut it, the big drawback to any potential Lesnar dream match is this: you are imagining a match with a Brock Lesnar who cares. 2017 Brock Lesnar aggressively doesn't.
