Finn deserves better than Brock Ambrosing his way through another title match en route to the eventual Roman win that no one wants. Especially when Brock will be the first person to beat Demon Balor on the main roster. Someone else should get that accolade. But they're hellbent on sacrificing all of their top acts at the altar of Brock to sacrifice him at the altar of Roman, so....meh. Brock has put smaller guys over before; Eddie Guerrero famously beat him for the WWE title, while Benoit got him to tap out not once, but twice. Heyman's promos praising Balor suggest that Lesnar is open to either scenario with Finn as his opponent. If the firm plan is to get the red strap onto Roman at all costs, fine - but I can't help but think that Lesnar will make Balor look even better than he does on the road to losing to Reigns, especially if it may mean that Reigns will drop the title to Balor later on. If HQ is waffling on Reigns (as they should), perhaps we may see a bigger buildup to Lesnar/Balor, including Balor winning the Rumble. Of course, this will all depend on how, or even if, they decide to play out the rest of the feud with Bray Wyatt and introduce Sister Abigail in the bargain. The Brock Lesnar of his first run doesn't exist anymore. This Brock Lesnar is a different beast entirely (no pun intended). Pair that with McMahon laser focused on Roman and I highly doubt Finn will go over. Really, if Joe and Braun haven't gone over and AJ likely won't go over, I'd be astonished if Finn went over. Best we can hope for is he isn't just flat out squashed.
