I haven't had any "guys" in NXT for a while, but now I have Dream and Almas, so I feel like I am more into the show.

I got to see these to go at a house show a while back. It was just as good as this and stole the show. So these two seem to be able to tear the house down over and over again.

f***ing A Dream is progressing. Don't go f***ing this up and call him up any time soon WWE. Give him another 6 months to a year. You got something of a good respectable midcard solid act in this guy. He screams future IC champ and hoo boy does he have facials. This kid is getting there. Big ass yes to the Black odd couple tag team too. 100% this! Build Dream up and let him keep improving. He was awesome last night as was Black, IMO.

They should've called an audible and give Dream the win. Seems they called an audible on Almas should have done the same here. Why? It would have killed the story of Black saying his name after the match.

Right. Dream needed the loss for this to work.

Great match. First time I've seen the Dream and only saw Black in a squash for his debut I think? Really cool stuff.

Totally did not expect this match to be as good as it was.
We already knew Aleister Black is great, but Velveteen Dream was an unknown factor. Thought he was going to be another average wwe rookie in wrestling ability - did not know he would be as good as he was. Impressive display and I'm happy for that.

Not as entirely sold on Dream as everyone else is.
But this match was great, I really thought the DDT was way too convoluted, and they did the flying nothing spot that I hate...
but it told a great story and even if I'm not as sold on Dream he is leaps and bounds better than the half assed prince gimmick this started as.

Dream is biting Rick Rude a little hard for me but he's good stuff. That match was really good.

I was shaking my head like I do so many times during Takeovers and even during regular NXT shows. Perfect midcard feud. It was great wrestling and great storytelling. Great payoff. It’s really something that would’ve even worked on a Wrestlemania, the way it all built properly and paid off.
Really, whole show was just proof (for me) how one hour a week is enough and provides big payoffs that aren’t saturated before you get to the end. The main roster is so full of wrestlers, two hours per show is enough to do the same thing. They just don’t. Thus the head-shaking.

It's amazing how much more consistently enjoyable NXT Takeovers are than WWE PPVs have become. It's like the guys in the NXT wrestle like they got something to prove and are eager to go all out. Then the following night, you see guys who have to wrestle four nights a week work like it's just another day in the office.
It always makes me think the main roster's schedule is sucking the life out of these guys compared to how much better guys like Balor, Zayn, Owens, et cetera looked down in Full Sail.

Dream is biting Rick Rude a little hard for me but he's good stuff. That match was really good. I loved the tights though. On a night of old school throwbacks, it was a nice touch for a feud that felt like it very much would fit in in the late 80's

Everyone was talking up this match. Got the chance to watch earlier and it lived up to the hype. Fantastic match.
