Nearly everything involved with Hollywood and the motion picture industry has a set of cliches. A couple of my favorites... 1.) People on the poster who aren't even in the movie. Normally for cheesy B-Movies with 2.) Actors names larger than the movie title. Mostly action pictures involving Seagal or Van Damme. My favorite.... 3.) Enhanced posters. What do I mean? Take a look at the picture of the King Arthur poster... Interesting.... Does anyone else notices some common movie poster cliches. Or just pet peaves about the things.

forget posters, what about ads. has there ever been a crime movie that didn't have "it was the perfect crime...but there was one thing they didn't count one" lines

What about the Cheesy Tag Lines on Posters:
"They had the perfect partnership.... Until she came into their lives"
"From the producers that bought you [insert far superior film here]" Note: The producers have nothing to do with films creatively so that claim is useless.
