Let's call it like it is. It looks like they planted a subtle seed tonight, by DB overstepping Shane's authority in the Owens/Zayn segment.
If DB is ok for one more match, Shane's "non-wrestler" street fight style may work in getting DB back in the ring without exposing him. DB might not be the ring technician he to keep with any of the fast paced guys the likes of AJ Styles, Nakamura or Finn Balor. Shane seems to be a guy who could have a good match with anybody, considering he was never a full-time wrestler.

Well we know Shane won't hit him with any punches

That would probably be the safest match they could do with Bryan. Just have Shane do his crappy offence and then jump off something and miss.

I would be terrified watching that match, if Bryan comes back I'd like him to face someone who isn't in danger of collapsing in on himself

The whole show felt like they were building a heel turn (saving Owens and Zayn from getting fired, not giving any F's that the women's division got wrecked by the ripoff Raw invaders, all the tension with Shane), and then nothing. Really weird.
As for a match, no. Not that I think Bryan's in any more danger than anyone else that gets in the ring, I just don't want his return match (if he ever has one) to be with Shane McMahon.

Probably just a slow burn that gets revealed within the next few weeks with Bryan making more decisions behind Shane's back and so on. (On an aside, a heel Bryan feuding with a face McMahon is just... whuh?)

I don't see it happening. They want people in the ring with Shane to be people that can make him look good and keep him safe, that is not Bryan right now. I suppose it could be a tag match (H and Bryan against Shane and Angle?) but cannot see them going to some crazy weapons thing with Bryan.

I actually came here to see if this thread was created. I've been annoyed with their teases of this storyline recently. This is the first time I've considered that they're stretching it out for Wrestlemania.
Also, does anyone think Bryan has been more vocal about wanting to wrestle again because he knows he will. ...In a WWE ring?

I'd be properly ticked off if they wasted Bryan's comeback on making Shane look competitive against another world champion.

Please no. Bryan was my favorite when he retired, and if he comes back I want it to be in a real match, not another installment of The McMahons Are The Real Stars, which is one of the balls worst things about the product for years. If there's worry about having him be protected, let him work with someone who's good enough to take care of him; someone who can go toe-to-toe with a very technical and grounded style like Gable, or someone who is as safe as safe can be, like AJ.

You probably need to work some ring rust off before going in with AJ. I have heard, and he has said as much, that matches with him are very physical experiences.

I imagine they'd have him down in the PC with Slater, Hawkins and/or Axel to get rid of the rust. They seem to be the guys they trust with that kind of deal.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear he's been training out that rust in secret anyway, and that's honestly what I'd want out of a return Bryan match. Something fast paced and built around not having him take suplex bumps and things that wcould f*** him up, which AJ could definitely pull off.

Well he was working with the Bellas and knocking their rust off. (no pun or indueno intended lol.) Least that's what I thought I read. So there's something there at least.
