Thank you for sharing this. It made me wonder, when dealing with businesses like banks & so forth, do you find them accomodating to deal with? Are there any changes that would make life easier for you? (I've always wondered about things like ATM's, for instance.) Thanks, it really varies, to be honest! Take ATMS, I normally need help using them here in Sydney because they don't have a braille option, but some other states in Australia do have them so its more of a fuss in some places than others. Sorry to take a while to get back to you on this, its been a rough couple of weeks. Victory hasn't been well and I've had an ear infection (in both ears) on top of everything else, so its been pretty crummy.

ATMs here do not have anything here for legally blind people like us either. Luckily for me, I can go into my branch, they see its me and are happy to help me use it or anything else. Most other places are not overly accommodating. Stores and such don't happen to have anything to help. You can tell in their voice that they are annoyed they have to help you, but they do anyway. Do you run into this? Hopefully you have better luck with businesses in your area.

Sometimes businesses will be helpful, and other times they'll almost seem resentful.

Vic hanging out on the treadmill. He's such a cute and adorable and helpful dog, which makes it even worse that things are so bad (especially financially, there's so much specialist equipment I need, and my being unable to find employment because of my disability), and there's a real chance I might have to give him up, its really not fair.
