Wonder how this changes Naito's match for the promotion next year, and Elgin's working relationship with Gedo (highly doubt it changes his bookings).
Also, I'm reminded of that Elgin peeing story from Steen's show. Makes this slightly less surprising.

That sucks, I've been to a few of their shows and Big Mike always brought in better talent than the local indies and really put some money into the presentation. Quality product dragged through the mud by a lot of bullshit. Hopefully this doesn't change a whole lot.

Wow what a complete mess. So many questions, but the main one, why would Elgin DM a known troll his personal thoughts? Seriously it's like some of these people didn't even know the internet existed until yesterday. As far as him "selling" Glory Pro, not really sure why this situation would lead to that, unless he thinks the legal battle could lead back to the fed. But if that is the case, it just makes Elgin look even more guilty. |

I wonder if this could affect his booking in New Japan? They take sexual assault pretty seriously over there. I know nothing has been proven, but I could see them booking him pretty tentatively until it gets settled.

I think some see mentioning r/SC as a possible rule break from the stuff about not starting board wars since it talks about not mentioning them though that is more in a "don't start shit here, don't bring shit here" way. I don't think there is an issue in cases like this. Of course there is also people who would quickly poo-poo stuff it because it comes from there and not a news site (and that sometimes that doesn't even matter). |
