Colt Cabana has challenged for the ROH World Championship in his hometown of Chicago six times between the years 2004 to 2016. He has failed each time. I decided to take a look at each opportunity, and look at what some people have called… Cabana’s Curse In Chicago wrestlingrecaps.com/2017/12/04/cabanas-curse-in-chicago-part-one/

On the bright side, he is hopefully doing well due to his connection with Pro Wrestling Tees (He's on their parent company One Hour Tees billboards all over the city)
Particularly since they are behind the NJPW and Bullet Club shirts that started being sold at Hot Topic.

For that first match with Joe in 2004, Colt was just a title defense as Joe was still heavily feuding with the Rottweilers and the rematch with Punk was looming. Still he had a case for a title match having pinned the champion in the Survival of the Fittest match a month prior. I liked his 2/3 falls match with Bryan a couple of years later a lot better.
