As much as I enjoyed them from a comedy perspective, it shows how weak the WWF tag title scene was - both heel and face - if they were able to retain the belts for nine months or so.

I don't see why they didn't just have Men on a Mission win the titles at WrestleMania X. Maybe not the best face tag team the WWF has ever had, but it was worth a try I think.
Or I would have teamed Tatanka up with another face and had them be the top tag team for a while, because I still think Tatanka should have held gold at some point in his WWF career. Heck, I wanted him to win the tag titles with Matt Hardy. Even if Tatanka was past his prime, he had Matt Hardy to balance that out.

It's so weird how they vanished off TV after dropping the belts to The Headshrinkers.
They looked so out of place during their 1998 run.

Tatanka not being able to slam a tornado prevented him from going further. Buffalo!

They looked so out of place during their 1998 run. When I watch shows from 1997 and 1998, there are several guys on the undercard who seem a little out of place in the Attitude Era. I guess it comes from transitioning from one era to another. It's weird to look back and think that George the Animal Steele was on the WWF roster in the Attitude Era. For the most part the Ruthless Aggression Era didn't have this so much, except for a couple of returns like Animal...and Tatanka, who should have won a title, darnit!

I've always found it amusing that Jacques has this big title run for the better part of a year with Pierre, a guy nobody had heard of before, but he and Raymond teamed in the WWF together for almost four years and never won the belts (officially).

I loved The Quebecers. I remember them destroying jobbers on the various weekly shows during the start of their run and they looked like bad asses, there was even one match where the Ref DQed them as they wouldn’t pin the guy after hitting him with tons of double-team moves. Their finisher especially looked brutal as no matter how much they tried to soften the impact, it was still a 300lb man hitting you at speed with all his weight.
