Jimmy Uso: [Long pause] Hell yeah, we felt slighted. You grind to get on these shows. One of the biggest pay-per-views of the year is SummerSlam. We had one of the hottest rivalries of the year with New Day going into SummerSlam. So to be put on the Kickoff was a slap to all our faces. Me, my brother and The New Day. We did our thing. Jey Uso: All year we been doin' our thing, like my brother said. Hottest rivalry in the game. A tag team rivalry. The Usos and The New Day. We done killed Battleground. What else we kill, Uce? Jimmy: Money in the Bank. Jey: Money in the Bank. The next one was Hell in a Cell, but to put us on the Kickoff show? The Usos and The New Day on the Kickoff show, especially The Usos, when you know we deliver every single night, man. We delivered. And, all of a sudden, we got half a house full, Uce. Jimmy: To be on a Kickoff at 5 [p.m.], and the fans aren't even in their seat? Our mindset is, we're gonna make sure this will be the hardest match to follow. And yeah, they messed up by putting us on first, but we ain't got no choice but to do it. But to make this match a hell of a tag team match, to make this match a hell of a title match, to make this match a hell of a match period … we almost hurt the show, you know what I'm saying? www.wwe.com/article/the-usos-interview-kickoff-show-rap-battle-new-day-2017

That match should've been on the PPV.

They're not wrong at all
They went out there and handled their business as well
Remember how pissed Ambrose and Corbin was to be on the pre show main event for Mania

The Pre-show had two championship matches and one match with the Intercontinental champion. That's nuts.

I'm gonna be f***ing livid if they get left off the Mania main card AGAIN this year. No one deserves to be on the show more than them this year. They're one of the hottest acts in the company and have been busting their asses and reinventing themselves for YEARS, and still don't have a Wrestlemania appearance to show for it.

Seriously, if you had put that terrible Big Show vs. Big Cass match on the preshow, I would not have cared a bit. The Usos should have been on the main show easily.

The Usos have clawed their way into overness and reinvention twice to great effect and response, and have busted their asses as workhorses the whole time. I know it doesn't really need to be proven, but if they're kept off the main card again this year any real hope of seeing WWE as a company where merit means f*** all will die a hard death.

I wonder when they're deal is up? Cause if I were them and get left off the main Mania card again, I'm calling New Japan.

They're not wrong, at all.
See every WrestleMania in the past 5 years too.

They going to be saying the same thing after WrestleMania 34 if the pattern stays the same.

But hey... Big Cass vs Big Show sure did shine on the main show, right?
(disclaimer: I had to look up what actually made the main Summerslam program)

Nobody has been unfairly left off of the PPV cards more over the last few years than the Usos.

These guys have gone from debuting and not being over (to the point we joked the silence in the arena when their music hit was called "the Uso pop", to actually getting themselves over with the new attire, the facepaint and the war dance, to getting heat because they were getting stale, turning heel, changing their look, their music and have ended up getting over as babyfaces again. This time I don't think their act will get stale - I think what the Uso's are now, are who they really are amplified by 1000%, and if they do get stale again and get heat again, then i'm sure they'll find another way to reinvent themselves.
These guys are that good. Really underappreciated.

Eh, I get it. One says "Uce", the other says "Oh", I say "click", so....yeah, it makes sense.

I will admit, I was not even kinda on the Uso Train at any point, even the beginning of this last gimmick change did nothing for me.
That said, after this feud with the New Day, these guys have really started to turn me around. I wanna see a bit more from them before I declare myself a full-fledged fan (after all, it's much easier to be great when paired with the always great New Day, but getting over is never easy, period). What a fantastic feud from all standpoints. Amazing mic work from all involved, followed by outstanding, "instant classic"-type matches
I'd also be interested in seeing an indie run from them. They could be incredible in that Young Bucks type roll of being regulars in NJPW, ROH, and PWG. Maybe some UK indies as well. They could grow even more in that type of environment, both as characters and workers. And due to who their family is, if nothing else, the door would always be open for a return to WWE at pretty much any point.

I wonder when they're deal is up? Cause if I were them and get left off the main Mania card again, I'm calling New Japan. There's a reason almost nobody getting a good push in WWE jumps ship while there's no shortage of people leaving NJPW to go to WWE. They'd most likely be taking a massive paycut to go to NJPW. I doubt they feel strongly enough about being on the Wrestlemania and Summerslam pre-shows to actually leave.

NJPW has proven that they can draw American talent hungry to be out of "the machine", and then when you offset that with the likely ROH dates, and various indy spot shows they could command a pretty penny for, just for being able to put "Former WWE Superstars The Usos" on the website/poster.....they'd take a cut in pay, but I'd bet it wouldn't be "massive".

Usos need a WM match that isn't on the pre-show but also isn't the first match of the night. I say this:
Usos vs Shield. Have the story be about the Usos calling The Shield out still and the entire time the question will be "will Ambrose return in time?" until the night of where Ambrose shows up. Ambrose and Rollins win and then all is well.
The next night, Ambrose betrayed Rollins and goes heel.
Writes itself.
