LOL! Excellent. I have to steal that one & use it at brunch tomorrow to seem awfully clever. Then everyone will shower me with compliments like: "Oh, Pete Maxx. You're so terribly witty & clever. How ever do you come up with such extraordinarily intelligent off the cuff remarks?" Since my computer has no interest in deleting this double post anytime soon let me tell you somebody else who isn't funny....Jade Goody. And no i'm not explaining. I'm in a mood now. You don't need to explain to ME. Damn, the fact she lasted so long in Big Brother confirms how I feel about the British public now.

Not a guy but for a time Lindsay Lohan would try to say jokes during interviews and it was so awkward.

Cedric the Entertainer is not entertaining. I'm not even sure he's a Cedric, come to think of it.

I just started a new job, and one of the dudes I work with quotes Dane Cook all day long. Its not that I don't think Dane Cook is funny, but the dude I work with isn't. He just starts telling stories as if they're his own, then just starts laughing and says, "do you ever listen to Dane Cook?" So I vote for the guy I work with.
I'd also like to nominate the entire cast of SNL for the past ten years.

Current cast of SNL, MadTV, Carlos Mencia, Will Ferrel, Andy Milonakis, and Bob and Tom from the Bob and Tom Show.
SNL MadTV and Mencia have been covered, but allow me to do the rest. Will Ferrell is not funny. He runs around and yells stupid things, uses lame, overused jokes, and that's about it.
Milonakis is not funny whether he's 14 or 30. I don't care, he's not funny. Putting food on your head and singing about it isn't comedy, it's idiocy. People say, "OMGZ HEZ JUST SO STUPID HES FUNNY! LOLZ!!" but that's only partially correct. He's just f***ing stupid, not funny.
Bob and Tom. When they actually have something funny, and not a lame song that they laugh at even though there are no punchlines, they laugh all the way through it. Seriously, they never shutup. Before they tell jokes, they are already laughing. Their jokes are again recycled, and they ruin any humor with their obnoxious laughing.
There, I needed to do that.
[/end rant]

Jimmy Fallon - I've listened to his comedy CD, and it is just painful. When a comedian records a CD, it's supposed to be their "A" material, right? Well, his "A" material only gets half of the room to laugh for about half of the time.
And keeping with the original spirit of the thread - NON-COMEDIANS - I agree wholeheartedly with George Clooney. The host/hostess just laughs along because he's one of the media's golden boys for reasons we won't discuss.

Cedric the Entertainer is not entertaining. I'm not even sure he's a Cedric, come to think of it. Dude beat me to it. He may be chubby, but that doesn't always make one hilarious. I'll toss in Lewis Black.

I'll toss in Lewis Black. I like Lewis Black. Not on the Daily Show, but his stand up is pretty funny and speaks the truth me thinks. I would like to add The Miz to the list as well.

Here are some from Australia:
Rove McManos: He hosts a Tonight Show style show here. Also he was the voice of the crab in 'Finding Nemo'.
Dave Hughes: I don't get how people like him. He is always shouting and talking in a sarcastic tone.
Jay And The Doctor: Host a breakfast radio show on alternative station Triple J. They are actually from a punk band called 'Frenzal Rhomb' which are not bad. But as comedian they friggen suck.

I find Lewis Black funny. Jackass has never been funny to me. Some people like it, but I am not one of those people. Yeah, Lewis is good. And I did like Jackass, but that was mostly back when I was a teenager. I think I grew out of it, or something.

And I did like Jackass, but that was mostly back when I was a teenager. I think I grew out of it, or something. (I'm just kind of quoting you in general) What I appreciate about Jackass is that they never go for race, religion, sexual orientation, obesity, gender as what the "punchline" (sometimes literally) of a gag is. They set the joke mostly so that it's on them. The extreme candid camera aspects of it are funny because or their absurdity. To me, Jackass is nothing more than guerilla theatre done with elements of post-modernism. I like it. I appreciate it.

Jackass is funny to me, mainly cause of what the guys say...
...like in Jackass The Movie when Knoxville returned that beat up car to the car rental place...
"Uh...I hit a dog..."
