Decided to start this early as I'll be making supper, making bread, and playing Sky Factory.
It's the Christmas RAW, and the network that has reportedly been the ones responsible for such joys as The Authority not dying and a third hour apparently only I like has proven that their hearts are more than three sizes too small as the WWE was ordered to give them a live RAW. Which means the parents on the red brand (Mickie James, Heath Slater, Roman Reigns, Titus O'Neil, Matt Hardy, Kurt Angle, and Bray Wyatt among others) have to spend the holiday away from their children, and the rest of the roster doesn't get to see their families either. And all to pop a rating that likely won't be good thanks to the holiday but will still be better than everything else on the network, which means WWE will remain at their mercy when the SD roster suffers the same fate next year.
Moving on from my ranting to what will be happening tomorrow night, The Shield reunion has gone so disastrously that you'd have to wonder if the curse that hit Roman Reigns' entire singles run is now spreading to his brothers in arms. Dean Ambrose is out for the forseeable future with a triceps injury, which means Seth Rollins has nothing to do. Will he keep pursuing the tag champs The Bar, and if he does, will he get Roman's help to back him up or will he be saddled with Jason "BUT DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD" Jordan to the dismay of everyone except Jason Jordan?
Speaking of Roman Reigns, the Intercontinental Dog was mysteriously absent last week but will be in town for RAW. Who will step up to challenge him next, and will Samoa Joe keep hounding him afterwards? And will we have to suffer through Jason "BUT DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD" Jordan trying to get another shot at either man?
Braun Strowman and Kane's inability to be finished with each other resulted in Kurt Angle making both of them challengers for Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. Kane and Lesnar worked together to put out the Monster Among Men but Kane got rewarded with an F5. What is next in store for the two behemoths as they look to be the one to end Lesnar's reign of terror?
John Cena will be returning a month after being on Team SD and just after the colossal failure of the movie Ferdinand.. Will Roman do as Allie Kitsune has suggested and go, "DADDY'S HOME, 2!"
Speaking of the Rumble a couple of paragraphs previously, Stephanie McMahon made the bombshell announcement last week that there will be a Women's Royal Rumble for the first time ever. How much jockeying for position will we see among RAW's women, and will Absolution try to feebly destroy someone again?
All this, plus AWOKEN Matt and Bray Wyatt continue their DELIGHTFUL! Laugh-Off, on Christmas Night, 8E/7C, only on Grinch Netw- I mean, USA Network!
