I've been asking myself this question for years. I hope to get it resolved here, once and for all. I need to know who is more pathetic of these two characters. One one side we have this man, Bill Dauterive. You know him from King of the Hill. On the other side we have THIS man, Principal Seymour Skinner, from the Simpsons. Ok, have at it, people.

Skinner, easily. The only cartoon character I've ever felt legit pity for.

I'm betting Willie, hence why he's so surly.

I'm betting Willie, hence why he's so surly. Yeah, but I remember Edna once saying "I'm not even gonna TELL you what that guy's into!" Perhaps implying some secret only she knows. Hell, Moe f***ed her. Moe.

Bill. The man pretended to be his ex-wife once.

William Fountaine Dauterive. The guy misses his ex-wife Lanore sooooo much, that he tried suiced by sticking his head in the oven....and it was pretty warm.

The only time Bill wasn't pathetic was when the Arlen gang went to New Orleans for the Saints-Cowboys game and Bill was all french and suave with his hot cousins/cousins wife

Moe Szyzlak is way worse off than Skinner. now Bill vs. Moe, THERE'S a contest for most pathetic character ever. throw in Dante Hicks from Clerks and we have a real contest!

Add Dr. Zoidberg and you've got a four-way.
