I'm rewatching these movies. Does anyone else here enjoy this series?

Enjoy just about all of them with 1 , 2 , 3 and 6 being my favourites in the series.
Jigsaw I have not personally chosen where to rank it because the reveal I still am not sure how to feel about it.

I love the Saw series. Of course the seventh film with the exception of it's intro and the ending remains the weakest of the franchise. I honestly believe the hiatus did the story a lot of good since Jigsaw, while the ending was somewhat predictable, it still felt fresh and unique along with me still catching certain things I missed during my first and second viewing.
What I feel should've happened is they should've taken a break with the story after the third. The fourth film could've focused solely on Strahm and a broken Detective Matthews attempting to stop the games. Their biggest mistake was killing off Strahm though. I absolutely hated that creative decision since he was actually likable, badass, and was actually guided by doing the right thing.

I love all of them. A very strong series I miss having a new chapter every year. Jigsaw was awesome.

I enjoyed all of them except for parts 4 & 7. Those were pretty lame. I didn’t see Jigsaw yet though.

I think 1-3 are great, 4-5 are good, the quality tapered off in 6-7, and Jigsaw was absolute toss.

I preferred when jigsaw (the character) in the first films was just an evil bastard but as the films progress he kinda lost it the same way Freddy became an anti hero.

I thought the first one was a smart, well constructed thriller, but by the time they did the second it was already all about the gorn. I saw the third as a redbox rental at some point and was pretty unimpressed. I’m a little surprised to see how many people here enjoyed the entire series.

Meh
First one is a classic horror film and the 2nd and 3rd were good enough movies
After that it became more about the gore and just throwing shit together to see how much they can shock the audience with their set ups

I enjoy them. They have their flaws but I don't go into them expecting an Oscar winning masterpiece. The story did get a bit silly but I still enjoyed it. Jigsaw was also fun.. (I'm calling a movie about people being brutally torchured fun.. Should I be concerned there? )

Films are of varying quality but I'm a huge fan of the series. Jigsaw is also a good reimagining of the series taking it in a different direction but to me it felt like an overly long L&O SVU episode, but I did enjoy it.

The concept behind them was fantastic, but I only just made it through the first one (I read about the others). I appreciate the creativity, but I'm just too much of a wuss to watch them.

Love them. From 3 on they were an annual tradition trip to the cinema for me and my friends. It was good fun having Jigsaw last year and doing it again after so many years away.
First one is a great thriller imo, and you can argue how 'good' the sequels are but the movies know exactly what they are. When I go see a Saw movie, I want traps and a ridiculous plot with a convoluted twist, if I get that I'm happy!
