Just from stuff we have learned over the years, what does his story say about him basically?
I've heard of the shady dealings with the employees of ECW,etc. but what's the basic opinion of him inside AND outside the business?

Apparently, he's MUCH easier to deal with since he started a family and is just a performer/Brock's business manager. He himself has stated he's much happier this way on his documentary.

An excellent talker. Obviously his wrestling promos are top notch, but I mean in real life as well. He talked his way backstage by saying that he was a photographer when he was in his teens, he had the ECW crew believing all of his bullshit despite not paying them half of the time, somehow he worked his way into representing Brock(I would love to know what his cut of Brock’s earnings are). He’s a pretty fascinating person actually.

Seems like one of those “kind of a dick; but you got to love him, that is just him” type of people. I know a few of those.

Guy got his workers to legitimately hurt themselves, shortening or worsening their lifes and health and didn't pay them. Scum.

Bruce Prichard described him as Littlefinger from Game of Thrones. Heyman tries to usurp power and even had followers.
Heyman also lived with his parents until he was in his early 40s. He's also Buster from Arrested Development.
Apparently as long as Heyman isn't in charge of your money or you're working for him, he's ok. Otherwise he's a piece of shit liar and thief.

Does Heyman legit manage Brock’s career?

He seems to be better these days, but he was horrible to the ECW talent.

He's a real stand up guy until you get into business with him. Unless your name's Brock Lesnar, because even Heyman isn't crooked enough to f*** around with Brock's livelihood.

Based on pretty much everything from his WCW and ECW days he seems like kind of an ass, but he's laid low since and it's been a long time since then so kind of hard to really hold it too much against him. People can change.

Like a few people I know personally, seems cool as a person, but nothing but horrible experiences when it comes to business/money.

Does Heyman legit manage Brock’s career? Kind of. He's not officially his manager, but he's Brock's closest friend and Brock pretty much always gets his opinion before making any business moves

One of Heyman's strongest attributes is his ability to make chicken shit sound like chicken salad almost effortlessly. He's more or less tailor made for the wrestling business.

he should've kept ECW's expenses within the budget his parents were willing to spend. They ran a huge geographic area instead of just 2 or 3 states

They ran a huge geographic area instead of just 2 or 3 states He should have kept Tod Gordon, who kept the company on a relatively even keel. Unfortunately Heyman became too much of a paranoid control freak to let an actual businessman manage things, and nit an untrained acolyte.
