Talking about Star Wars made me think of this, in all of the multitude of Expanded Universe books theres been a ton of new and interesting characters, got any favourites? Obviously Erisi Dlarit tops my list, but Ysanne Isard, Admiral Dalla, Grand Admiral Thrawn and Gilad Pellaeon are also great characters

I'm sort of partial to Mara Jade. She would eventually marry Luke.

I've only read Michael Stackpole's X-Wing books. From those, my favorite's probably Corran Horn. I kinda like Isard as well.

Does Dash Rendar count? I don't know much about him but he seemed cool.
Also, IG-88 was barely in the films but apparently had more to him in the books and such, and I mean, I can't not like a huge walking metal guy with a tin can for a head.

I now understand Erisi's Crapname. I vaguely remember that. Grand Admiral Thrawn annoyed me at first but he's grown on me.

Grand Admiral Thrawn and Montross. Kyle Katarn is also up there, too.

Thrawn and the Noghri have a nice little place in my hear. I'll also throw in the Solo twins and that Vergere dude. I like my Force users to be a bit more ambiguous that straight up light or dark.

Jodo Kast is also cool in my book. He was a Boba Fett impostor, true. But I prefer his color scheme over Boba's.
