The bizarre aspect here is that Sasha has not profited by her various betrayals of Bayley. Screwing her over at the Rumble did not lead to Sasha winning, it really just eliminated an ally that could have helped eliminate others till it got to the two of them. Ditto at the EC, Sasha nonsensically attacked Bayley rather than teaming to get rid of Alexa. It's a bit astounding that they repeated the same booking with Reigns/Rollins in both cases, but at least there Reigns has at least profited from his Seth attacks. Are they going for a parallel here or is this just repetitive booking?
I think at this point Bayley might be better off turning. Sasha isn't a likable character in the first place, so turning her heel is a moot point. Bayley going Sami would just fall flat but if she went insane Bob Backlund it might be interesting.

I know I've said it before, but I definitely want a Professor Chaos-esque heel turn from Bayley. Throw in her being unwilling to swear like in that Snickers commercial too. That's great stuff.
Give her Jazzy Gabert as a way too serious henchwoman that even she is scared of

I'm really surprised at how many people do not seem to understand the story. Sasha has been a real crappy friend the past 2 months and has betrayed Bayley twice. Bayley isn't putting up with it anymore and is letting Sasha have a taste of her own medicine. That's why she only messed with Sasha, and stayed for the rest of the match to help Asuka. The commentary team even sold it correctly to make it clear she was a face.
I feel like this is what people have been asking for, in terms of storylines and character work for WWE. A face who doesn't look like an idiot the entire time, the face has a logical reaction to what happened, calls back to previous booking, and so far it has been told well. Imagine if they had Sasha betray Bayley again, or attack her. I can already see everyone shooting fire at the WWE for making Bayley look like a goober for not seeing it coming a third time.

I think that 'bizarre aspect' is the story though. Sasha can't achieve her goals because she's so obsessed with proving she's the best and trying to get one over on Bayley. She could have waited until they beat Alexa at Elimination Chamber, but Sasha just couldn't help herself. Bayley has finally had enough of Sasha treating her poorly, but is also a face and still friends with Asuka. Its an interesting and surprisingly nuanced story, and I hope they don't ruin it from here. One other nice bit of storytelling is that Sasha had on her Battleground 2016 attire, from the PPV where she chose Bayley as her mystery partner.

I think it’s more that she’s just over Banks’s bullshit more than it is a full-on proper betrayal. She still helped Asuka after that point. yeah it's like she was telling sasha "fool me the first 378 times shame on me. but fool me the 379TH time, shame on you! Becky's the one who's the female Sting not me!" since she came back to help asuka she's still doing the face thing. she just wanted to see how sasha liked being on the receiving end of getting betrayed for a change.

Should we be wishing for Bayley to be the Sting of women's wrestling? Sting just got messed up over and over and over by so called friends and while he settled it in the ring, he kept returning to these people like a chump. Bayley is telling Sasha, "Hey, we may be friends but if you keep treating me like this there are ramifications." I'm all for it.

My ideal turn is for Sasha to go heel after losing clean to Bayley. Have her snap grab a chair and just destroy Bayley. Hit her until it is uncomfortable how long she has been doing it.

Sasha's "betrayed" her twice in the Royal Rumble and the EC matches and then did the hard tag on Bayley. She strikes as being way more heelish than Bayley. It strikes me a lot more as Bayley being done with Sasha's bullshit than turning heel.

We need to see that Bayley. Just constantly surly as f*** but still too nice to actually use foul language. Oh yeah, I need some of that Bayley on TV.

I’m more surprised by Mickie James just “yeah, I’m cool with Alexa, let me help her attack Asuka” heel turn. She never had a turn, she just showed up tonight and was a heel

I don't trust the WWE to do a nuanced character. But Bayley remaining a face but being sick of Sasha's shit could be fun. She still got involved in the match after denying the tag, so there's hope...
Instead we're probably going to get eye poking, tight grabbing, running from any threat Bayley.

She never had a turn, she just showed up tonight and was a heel She had that temporary alliance from last week's show. The "Huh, they have a team, and they have a team... team up?" Maybe her and Alexa hung out. Like, Alexa came over and listened to music on Mickie's phonograph.

I'm enjoying the storyline so it's doing it's job. They've both been crying out for this feud for a year now. Logic dictates Sasha is going heel but teasing that Bayley might is intriguing.

Broken record time!
There was a tag team/stable in ICW called the New Age Kliq - violent, unstable anarchists who enjoy attacking people, ruining main events and generally messing up shit. For the past six months, I have been waiting for Sasha and Bailey to go full NAK on the women's division. All the pieces are in place for them to snap (Asuka's dominance creating a glass ceiling, Alexa acting like she's Jeff Jarrett in 2005, the systematic teardown of Bailey's image, etc). They just need to pull the trigger.

I wouldn't even do the turn before WrestleMania. Just have Sasha admit her frustrations, and how she just needs to beat Bayley after Bayley keeps reminding her that she's won all the big matches between them. Get to WrestleMania... and Bayley wins AGAIN. Sasha loses it on RAW the next night, attacks Bayley to kingdom come, and we have a blood feud up until SummerSlam!

We like to joke about Sasha Banks being Eddie Guerrero's legacy, but that sounds an awful lot like the basis of the Eddie Guerrero/Rey Mysterio feud sans Dominick("I'm Your Papi!")

Well, obviously we need to have a “Custody of Superfan Izzy” ladder match at Summerslam then. Women’s division booking troubles SOLVED.

Dave Meltzer is of the belief that it will be Bayley turning heel, but he knows that the fans are perceiving Sasha as the one turning.
