I had to focus too much on car hunting to pay attention to the first part of RAW, but did they have Bayley turn on Sasha instead of the other way around?
Because if that is supposed to lead to BAYLEY being the heel, then hoo boy. This is not going to end well at all.

I dunno, I’d be down for giving the Sami turn to her.
Have her be even more bubbly and happy, to the point of obnoxious

I'm conflicted because Sasha's character really needs the heel turn rejuvenation (The Boss has never made sense as a face character and is only this way because of popularity from a couple years ago), but I also can't envision a scenario where Sasha gets booed for turning on Bayley.

At this point I don't think WWE even cares, they're gonna blur the line so hard that no one will know who to cheer for, nor care. It's obvious it should be Sasha who is an amazing heel but WWE has to needlessly complicate shit.

I will honestly be so upset if they turn Bayley.

I think it’s more that she’s just over Banks’s bullshit more than it is a full-on proper betrayal. She still helped Asuka after that point.

That video where she's yelling at somebody and censoring herself cursing by using the word hug needs to be her heel character.

I need to see this video. We need to see that Bayley. Just constantly surly as f*** but still too nice to actually use foul language.

I still think Sasha is the heel.

I think, in time, a Sami-esque heel turn for Bayley could work, just not right now. And even when/if they do, I don't think I'll have any faith in them actually doing it right.

Sasha betrayed her at the Rumble and EC, so Bayley was showing she wasn't taking any more of that guff from her again.

Yeah, the move is typically a heel move, though generally it's followed by them leaving the match entirely. Bayley still stuck it out and helped out Asuka. This was more of, you've turned on me twice, there are consequences to your actions. Even commentary was pointing our her helping Asuka. So I think it was less Bayley turning and more Bayley letting Sasha know she needs to cut the crap. Between this and her far more aggressive attitude in the chamber match I think they're finally heading in the right direction with Bayley.

There was no turn. There was.... stay with me now... character work. Bayley and Sasha are still friends but their relationship is a bit strained right now. Sasha instinctively reached out to Bayley for the tag and Bayley stepped off the apron to say "hey, you can't treat me like crap and still expect me to always be there". Sasha actually looked repentant when she missed the tag, as if to say "oh shit, I might have went too far again".
That might all get flushed next week, but as of right now it's a good story.

Yeah I never saw it as a heel turn, just Bayley finally standing up and telling Sasha she's had enough of her crap. If a friend kept screwing you over, you'd eventually do the same thing. It's actually cool to see Bayley's character show some guts and walk away instead of letting Sasha betray her again and again and again without doing anything.
