I'll say this about his career... Vince NEVER knew how to book him.

It also occurs to me that Braun is booked mostly how Show should have been when he debuted.

I was hoping there'd be one more match with Braun where Show would put his career on the line for the chance to beat him, but hey, he did a good job putting Braun over on the way out. Thanks Show, enjoy retirement big guy.

Sucks to see it end like this, in particular because he thought he had a way out with something special in the Shaq match that WWE jerked Shaq around on so much he walked. He went out putting over Braun at least, but it would have been nice for a real story and a real send-off to be involved.

Was never a big fan, but he seems like an awesome dude. My friend waited on him one time, and all he ordered was a whole pie. Haha.
He should have gotten a title run around 09-10 when he seemed to really have his working boots on. Best of luck to him, he'll be fine. Just no more strip mall investments. 😊

I've liked and disliked his character throughout his career, but losing to Strowman's not a bad way to go.
Best of luck to Big Show's health and retirement.

Seems like a humble, nice guy. Glad he apparently is happy to be off.
Wish Kane were as humble.

As much as he's worn out his welcome for many, I'll always have a soft spot. He always seemed like he loved wrestling and is known as one of the better people in the business. Good luck, Big guy. *tips cap*

I really want him to at least pop up long enough to get a proper sendoff.

Strowman's booking is Big Show's done right. With that said, Big Show's a legend and the fact he can retire quietly under his own terms (rather than being forced out due to injury) at the age of 46 is a blessing. He'll be missed.

They had a seven foot giant who could both wrestle and talk. The fact they made him into a joke is a tribute to how moronic WWE booking is.

If this is really it, honestly I'm going to miss the big lug. For someone his size, I felt he was always underrated in the ring, and he became a smarter worker as time passed. Plus he showed great charisma even when he was yo-yo booked between heel and face for sometimes dumb reasons.
Dude's earned himself a HOF spot. One of the all time great super heavyweights.

It also occurs to me that Braun is booked mostly how Show should have been when he debuted. Every time Show would come out towards the end I'd look back on his career in my head and think to myself, "They've never really known how to book this guy." Any aura he had when he first debuted in WWE seems like it was gone in just a few months.

He had what, 3 matches with Braun? I enjoyed them all and am glad their careers had a brief overlap to make it possible.
