I will say the shining light of 2 was Renee. She's always gorgeous, but as 80s tramp Susan, she was just smokin.

I could mostly take or leave season 2 but Chett Chetterfield's transformation from happy-go-luck colour commentator to miserable cuckolded drunk was something to behold.

Maybe they could do an ersatz GLOW rival thing in the vein of Southpaw featuring the women superstars. BUT THEY ONLY HIRED ONE!!!;

Have to admit I find the "don't bother" sentiment a bit odd. Like, so many of us keep following the main roster product despite years of shitty creative decisions and an ungodly amount of content produced every week, but we're against the third entry in a short comedy series, just because the second wasn't as good as the first?
I wouldn't mind seeing it. Maybe it'll suck, maybe it'll be underwhelming with a few fun moments, maybe it'll be like the Star Trek series where only the odd numbered ones are good. In any case, we're not talking about a major film franchise, it's just a bit of silliness. No harm in trying again.

I agree with the sentiment (because I liked your post, obviously) and I do have to say I canceled my network subscription recently because I have no real motivation to watch the shows without a group to riff on it without me but I do see why people would be reluctant. WWE, and other media companies too, like to take good things that come from their talent and put their stamp on it to try and make it more...well, mainstream. Or people involved might push to capture what works and not quite get there. In that case, it would be better for it to be left alone before we get more stupid Southpaw cameos from people who don’t get how to make it work in the main roster (you have a kayfabe with it, goddamnit! At least try and act like Tex2Badd are a million years old and legends like the Rock n Roll Express and not playing dress up!) and the series tries too hard. Me, though, there was enough to love that I want to see them try it again but others are worried someone higher up’ll see it, make it more cynical and take the energy away and we just have the main roster in 5 minute chunks. Probably overthinking that bit but it’s like when a small successful video series gets big and is suddenly picked up by a bigger channel and has to make dramatic changes or gains a tonne of money that it doesn’t feel small anymore.

I want a documentary about the roster coming together to put on a reunion show thirty years later.

I honestly didn't notice much of a downturn in the second season? I was just as genuinely entertained as I was when I found season one. I'd be happy to see more!

Fish and O'Reilly should revive their "Fishbowl" phase of ROH. Two William F. Buckley types who side with The Banker.
Akira Tozawa ramps up his VKM impression as "The Boss" and starts booking matches for "Rumble in the Bayou". No one knows what "Rumble in the Bayou" is.
It's going to depend upon the sponsor, too. It's got to be a company willing to attract the viral marketing crowd.
