Probably in the minority here but watching a few random video's on YouTube had me watching back when The Miz & R Truth became a team rather randomly & went on to face The Rock & John Cena.
First opinions were thinking that the team would suck but I was pleasantly surprised & really enjoyed The Awesome Truth combination & it's a shame that they weren't kept together longer as their chemistry together was great and could only improve.
What we're your opinions on The Awesome Truth Tag Team? & share your favourite memories of the combination...

A shame this led to the Walkout, which accomplished nothing.

Agreed. I thought they had a genuine dangerous feel to them. Shame it didn't last.

I loved them. I wish they would've just not done the whole "Cena beating them in a Handicap match less than a week before the Survivor Series, thus taking away any real thought of them possibly beating Cena and The Rock" thing.

Something that could have been amazing ruined yet again by WWE "creative."
The only thing those clowns are creative at is f***ing things up. Which is a shame because they often hit on the beginning of ideas.

They were good together but the idea of the entire roster being terrified of the two of them was laughable.

It seems like WWE could never decide how serious they wanted Awesome Truth to be. Sometimes they were dangerous vigilantes who ruined PPV main events because they felt misused, sometimes they came to the ring while rapping about how much they hated the audience.
Also, the move itself is cool, but "Little Jimmy's Finale" has to be one of the worst finisher names I've ever heard.

I say they were another instance where there was 1 great idea, but creatuve always went with the 2nd or 3rd option that included putting someone else over rather than the one who's on the verge of taking there status to a higher level.

I thought it was awesome when they locked themselves in the HIAC and beat down Cena, Punk, and Del Rio while everyone was desperately trying to get in the cell to stop them.

A shame this led to the Walkout, which accomplished nothing. That's not true...Trips got to stroke his ego, as well as put down nearly the entire roster...that's something
