I thought the first was a very good film so I look forward to this.

They had to have Drago in this. His shadow loomed large over the first Creed movie in my opinion, since the guy killed Creed's dad in the ring in Rocky IV and that was the basis of the entire film. I was thinking they could get 1 more movie out of the Adonis title chase culminating in a victory over someone like Stuntman Wheeler for the title before going into the Drago storyline. Maybe Drago and son show up near the end of Creed II to challenge the winner, that sort of thing.
I was thinking if Rocky actually died of cancer in this series they could do a Drago face turn and have him train Adonis going forward. He could do a mea culpa and discuss how Apollo's death truly upset him in the long term once the hype died down and the whole USA/Soviet nationalistic stuff went by the wayside. Lundgren is certainly a better actor than he was in 1985, so I think he could pull off this kind of heavy acting.

I think "You literally killed my father with your hands, but I forgive you...." is a creative stretch, no matter how you try to spin it. Hopefully they don't try to go that route.

I had an idea of Adonis wanting to know the man, and Rocky showing that life hit Drago hard with him broken down in a wheelchair from steroid abuse and looking near death.

I f***ing love Drago, so I’m so stoked about this. The first Creed was great, and this has my expectations sky high.

Assuming this has the same tone as Rocky Balboa and Creed I, It will be Interesting to see Drago in a more dramatic movie. I love Rocky IV, but it was very cartoony.
