Over/Under Connor McGregor gets an announced fight within the next 20 pages I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t fight again (at least in MMA) this year (or ever again). Now watch his next fight be announced tomorrow.

Oh yea I been saying that since McGregor/Mayweather was first rumored to happen You let Connor go in there and get what people were estimating to be close to $100 million in one fight and expect him to come back and fight in UFC for $5 million Dana keeps swearing up and down he's talked to Connor and he wants to fight so we shall see

Rumours of a RDA vs Covington Interim Title fight at UFC 224.
This has been done to either pressure Woodley ("defend the belt or we'll strip you") or more likely the UFC running scared of Nunes vs Pennington tanking the buyrate.

Over/Under Connor McGregor gets an announced fight within the next 20 pages Man, it's tough. I think he fights the winner of Tony/Khabib(and will get in the cage post-fight to 'announce' it) but will that be within 20 pages?

Well we usually have our own threads for the PPV in general so I’m theory it should happen in 20 pages

I think Tony might actually be a tougher matchup for Conor. Khabib is an incredible wrestler, but Conor might be able to keep him at bay with his striking. Also wrestlers match better with opponents they have a size advantage over and Conor is a big lightweight. He was a HUGE featherweight.

Covington is one of the most unlikable human beings on UFC's roster now.

I think, in theory, his 'easier' fight is against Khabib.(Though I don't think any of the three is an easy out for any of the other two). Khabib wants to bull rush in and get the clinch/takedown with his chin up pretty high and that obviously makes him a target for that missile of a left hand from Conor, but if he gets the takedown, it's likely a wrap. Ferguson is still hittable, but he comes at you from a long of funky angles on the feet and is also really rangy plus he's got really slick Jiu Jitsu(I think he's a more talented Nate with perhaps a 'worse' chin, so to speak) From a business standpoint, the UFC is probably hoping Khabib wins because Conor/Khabib would do absurd numbers.

Current UFC brass loves their interim belts and Woodley is not a popular champion with them.

Honest question, is Khabib really that much of a needle mover? The guy's injury prone and fights so infrequently at times. As far as the Russian audience goes, yah, I get it, but is he really that big a name that he'd do a huge number and be the reason for it? Conor's return to the UFC is going to do a monster number regardless of who he's going to be against.

I like Holloway's chances, to be honest.

Looks like it is for the title and Ferguson is no longer interim champ. Harsh.
