And I still think she should’ve gotten the nod against de Randamie. The Cyborg one is debatable, and this one is very questionable. She’s 1-2 at 135 since she beat Ronda

Just shows how shallow the talent pool is in the women’s divisions. Nunes needs some competition.

I did some stats on Holly excluding the fight with Ronda:
UFC record: 4-4 Wins against top five opponents: 0 Biggest win: Bethe Correira (ranked 10th) Title shots: 4 Strike accuracy against Valentina Shevchenko: 18%
It shows how much of her pedestal is built on one fight. People criticised me for calling her a one hit wonder, but youve gotta understand where I'm coming from.

She’s 1-2 at 135 since she beat Ronda The 193 shot came off a win over #11 Marion Reneau, and at the expense #1 ranked Tate (on a four fight winning streak) and #4 ranked Nunes (on a two fight winning streak), both of which deserved it more. The 208 shot was after a two fight losing streak, the last of which was her being dominated by a Flyweight.

I’m pretty sure that Dana booked the 193 fight because he thought that Rousey was going to squash her. He was trying to keep her strong, but that backfired severely.

TRT era Vitor was the most destructive and powerful ever in fighting. It was unfair but he was a f***ing monster. It was like Frieza evolving until his final form.

I always heard it was they felt Ronda vs Holm would draw better, because Ronda had already beaten Tate handily twice.

The 208 shot was after a two fight losing streak, the last of which was her being dominated by a Flyweight. Once you’ve lost twice in title fights to the champ, pretty much anyone gets a title shot before you do. And Holm was undefeated in MMA, and is one of the most decorated women’s boxers ever. I have no problem her jumping Tate. And are Shayna Baszler and Sara McMann really that far off of Reneau and Pennington? It’s not like Nunes was lighting the world on fire Plus, those 2 women got the next 2 title shots so it’s not like they got Jon Fitch’d And when you’re creating a division, all bets are off for deserving. Cyborg wasn’t available, so if you were gonna do a 145 belt, who would you have chosen?

They thought Holm would be a cakewalk and was proven wrong
