Brock signs on until the Survivor Series. The Mania match against Roman ends up going 15 minutes and Brock wins pretty decisively. Who’s going to ever beat Brock?
Bring Cass back as a heel. Have him work as a monster that dominates most of his opponents.
Daniel Bryan makes his way over to Raw. He gets involved in a huge feud with monster heel, Cass. Cass dominates DB all match, but ends up getting rolled up. He hits a big boot on DB after, setting up a rematch. Same formula, and DB wins again. This time Cass accepts defeat and walks off.
Bryan moves on to Lesnar. Can he be the one to dethrone him??? L
Lesnar/Bryan main event at SummerSlam. Tough match, but Brock retains. The next night on Raw, a battered Bryan hobbles to the ring against Brie’s wishes and says he took Brock to the limit and asks for a rematch. Brock says he doesn’t deserve one, but he can fight him right now and proceeds to destroy Bryan. He even hits the old school triple power bomb as Brie is shown in the back pleading with someone for help. As Brock goes for the kill shot (something terrible to DB’s head), out comes Cass for the save. Lesnar walks off without any physicality.
DB is out of action for a bit, and Brie tells Cass he’s the only one that can stop Brock. Cass says he did DB a favor because he respects him, but that he has no issues with Brock. Cass dominates a mid-card face on Raw.
Heyman says there are no issues between his client and Cass, but Brock takes the mic and warns Cass to mind his business. Cass is shown laughing it off in the back as Raw goes off the air.
Slow build up to Cass and Lesnar at Survivor Series, where Cass beats him for the title. DB wins the Rumble and Wrestlemania can feature Cass/Bryan III, this time for the Universal title. Lots of mutual respect between the two. Cass vs. Strowman, Cass vs. any Shield member, and plenty of other opportunities in the future, including an Enzo return for a possible heel turn or feud.
