So we all know how Vince Russo liked to try and swerve us in storylines during his time in creative and more often than not it was predictable as hell but when was the last time you legit got swerved in a particular storyline?

Not sure what the last time was, but the best ever for me was.
"It doesn't matter if their sacred bond lasts 50 years, 18 months or 3 minutes.... What a minute? Did I just hear myself say 3 Minutes?"
Mind blown.
Lucha Underground has had two incredible ones recently. One with Vasquez and Castro and one with her and Catrina.

Does Jeff Jarrett being inducted into the Hall of Fame count?

Prob the most effective one that comes to mind is Ciampa turning on Gargano. Figured them losing the ladder match meant they were probably moving up to the main roster and the camera sticking around for the long solemn walk up the ramp seemed like their standard 'farewell' shots, like they did with Sami.
Graphic comes up, figure that's the end, then swerve!

Wrestlemania 31. I watch pretty much every pay per view with my 2 brothers. My younger brother was saying how they could have Seth cash in during the main event and I was just like "they'd never do that ".
...cue the music.

Corbin losing his MITB cash-in. In the days leading up to that Smackdown, I had formulated the theory that since people weren't really into Cena/Corbin or Mahal/Nakamura at Summerslam, it would be perfect for Corbin to cash in on Mahal at the last minute and turn the match into a Fatal Four-Way. The minute he came out, I started celebrating. Then he lost and we had to endure two separate sucky matches at Summerslam.

For a bad one, Jinder.
Better one would be Undertaker turning heel. "Do you think you're better than me...?"

Austin joining WCW/The Alliance Because We Can't Say ECW On Television. Which sucked.

The Rock turning corporate Survivor series 98.
I know it get's brought up often but it's like the one time a Russo swerve actually made sense and worked out well.

When Owens turned on Sami. Mainly because I expected to happen and they dragged it out for so long I thought they wouldn’t do it.

Cena’s return and victory at the Royal Rumble 2008. Genuinely did not see that coming.

I always insist Jericho should have been the main eventer to defect. Jericho beats Austin for the title at KOTR, but then Vince questions his loyalty due to his previous links with WCW, to the extent he leaves him out of Team WWF. It would've legitimised Jericho as a main event heel, and made more sense given his closer links to WCW and Steph.

I don't know if it was a "Swerve" exactly but the initial Nexus beatdown threw just about everyone for a loop and no one saw it coming
More recently, Shane McMahon returns and everyone loses their mind.
