He is also no fan of Jimmy Hart as a performer. Every time Jimmy pops up on one of these old WCW shows, Eric notes how he thinks Jimmy took away from the match/segment. Is it weird that I sorta agree with him, I think? Jimmy Hart was a weird fit in WCW. I mean, ever since he suddenly became Hogan's on-screen manager in 1993 it was odd. Even going back to being a heel in WCW (after, again, coming in as Hogan's pal), it was not the same... I think Bischoff just hated Jimmy's act, especially depending on who Jimmy was managing. He specifically pointed out how he believed Jimmy was a detriment to Meng and Barbarian.

Bischoff is not a big fan of Missy Hyatt. Wow! Add Daffney and JJ Dillon on the list as well with the Souled Out 2000 episode.

Regarding Eazy-E’s dislike for Jimmy Hart, in his book Bisch implied that Hart wasn’t very honest when he was Hogan’s business manager and that Hart tried to work Bischoff.
Hey what ended up happening when Eric finally met Honky Tonk Man on the convention?

So Woman's apperance in WCW was suppose to be a one off, and she was going to stay in ECW. If that happened, I wonder how things would have changed, maybe she is still alive today.

I found Jimmy Hart to be entertaining no matter what or who he was involved with. Even the worst phase of the Dungeon of Doom (1996 post Giant and on). Eric, on the other hand, I could not stand as the head of n w o. That was instant channel changer for me and ruined the n w o for me.
Vince McMahon was tolerable as the evil business owner because he was talented enough to pull it off and worked so well with Steve Austin and a few other involves in storylines. Eric just came off as a slime ball and overall so uncool that he HAD to get in with the n w o to have even a small amount of the cool factor. His stuff with WWE was even worse.

That's actually why I liked Eric as a heel GM. He IS a slimeball. Vince is cartoonishly evil to the point that you just can't help but love the crazy old man after a while. Eric, on the other hand, is slimeball corporate to the hilt, character wise.

I like Jimmy Hart. If he tried to work Eric for Hogan's sake, I hardly know why. Hogan had plenty of success working Bischoff, himself.

The recent Nitro book by Guy Evans discusses JJ Dillon and his admitted lack of contributions in late era WCW. Apparently there was a woman named Lenita Erickson that somehow got a job from Brad Siegel, apparently as part of the whole KISS crossover deal. She was going to do a robot KISS type character or something, so Siegel sent her to the Power Plant. Nobody had a clue why she was there though and Dillon (who was office management there but doing nothing) thought she was brought in by Siegel to be a management conduit to the main Turner office! Over time she and JJ started conniving about how to buy the company from Time Warner, even getting Jerry Jarrett in on their meetings. Apparently Erickson also kinda helped sabotage the whole Fusient deal by telling Fox execs that WCW's programs were going to be cancelled and that Bischoff would have no actual company to sell.
Just weird, mind blowing stuff. I hadn't heard any of it before.

Can Eric talk about tna or is the lawsuit still going?
He already said that the only thing he doesn’t regret was working with his son but that the rest was a nightmare.

Just heard a clip of Conrad and Easy E discussing Bill Watt's dismissal from WCW and his comments that led to that.
Got to say that Conrad jumped up a few good notches in my estimation. I've felt in the past he's made some comments that expressed unpleasant views lying under the surface, or at the very least was completely tone deaf about, but the pair of them have a very honest and frank discussion of it and made their opposing views to Watts' clear. Nice stuff.

Anyway, wonder what Conrad really meant when he said "I know what I said, and I don't take it back"? Does Bill have any friends left with pull in the industry?

I can’t decide if another telling of the WCW story is worth my time (ironic since I listen to 83 Weeks).

I'm assuming it was more along the lines of Conrad knowing at least some of his fan base is probably a 'free speech over everything' kind of thing and he's willing to take the hit there, but I wouldn't be shocked if a number in the business did still, if not share those views, feel Bill's booking and work should counter the nature of those comments

Can get a little dry at times, though.

Yeah but I stopped listening to JR’s podcast when I got the impression the real JR is a giant asshole.

Don't see who else Conrad's shot could have been aimed at.

Don't see who else Conrad's shot could have been aimed at. Cornette I think also defended Watts until he heard the audio of the interview. I’m reading Ross’ book, I’m currently in his mid south run, I hope he doesn’t defend Watts again.

Don't see who else Conrad's shot could have been aimed at. Flair has not defended but essentially made it out to be something of nothing in the past. Given they are related now, could have been in response to something there.
