Stopped by a toys r us going out of business sale today and saw at least a dozen lord steven regal figures. We've all seen the wrestling toys that stay on the shelves forever and never sell. What are the most common pegwarmers you can remember?

Jacqueline and Dr. Death clogged shelves during the Jakks run in 1999. Jackie even made mention of it on a Sunday Night Heat promo before Survivor Series 1999. Scott Steiner, Samu and Bushwhacker Butch from 1994 Hasbro seemed to be around into late 1995 or early 1996. And a few of the LJN managers could still be found in TRU stores into late 1991.
Maybe the tag figures were overproduced or overpacked compared to their partners Rick, Fatu and Luke. I saw a post on another board where a guy bought a whole case recently that had so many figures of Samu and Butch.

Most recent example would have to be the HOF Tito Santana exclusive at Target.
And for a while, the Elite Bo Dallas and the series 36 Elite Bray Wyatt.
I also imagine the Virgil figures haven't moved much in any series.

At my local Toys R Us everything had been picked clean. Outside of the Barbie/WWE dolls there was only one actual WWE figure left. It was a slew of Virgil: Wrestling Superstars. I literally laughed out loud because, damn, that’s appropriate.

I'm actually looking for Virgil to go with dibiase in my 80s display!
I remember Jesse and Festus two pack hanging around forever.

Did you check the Star Wars aisle? I'm sure you could probably find plenty of Finn figures, haha. During my son's birthday party a friend of mine was over, commenting on how he had trouble finding the right gift at Toys R Us before coming to the party, and noted that about all they had in terms of Star Wars was a bunch of Finn stuff. "After all, what self respecting kid would want a Finn toy?"

Fabulous Moolah figures never seemed to move. I’ll second the Tito HOF and add The Bushwhacker 2 pack

Local Toys r Us here were cleaned out other than the Randy Savage Defining Moments and a single Kofi figure. I don't get Macho Man hanging around due to how awesome that figure was. I have it. I assume it was an overstock issue or maybe they just charge too much as Defining Moments seem to always be left hanging.

Last time I went to my local Going-Out-of-Business Toys R Us, they still had all of those Barbie-style WWE Superstars figures and a die-cast metal Sami Zayn. I think the Championship belts were still sitting around, too.
EDIT: And my local Rite-Aid had an Elijah Burke figure warming the peg long after the dude left WWE.

My local B&M store in the UK has had the 4 horsemen Hall of fame pack on the shelf for a good year. Started with about 6 and they finally have 1 left. £10!

See: Blade Braxton's saga of the Gymini figures occupying the same peg for almost 5 years.

I went to a Fred's store recently and I noticed they had a CM Punk figure (with the pink tights). I checked the back of the box, and it was from 2012! Fred's IS a discount store, but even that's a bit too old.

Tito HOF figures are going to clutter Target shelves until the end of time.
