Somebody brought up something in the trailer. Look at the first time you see the adult Losers Club when they see their younger selves in the window.
Stan and Eddie are missing. Guessing they are following what happens in the book.

That opening scene with the old lady was more unnerving than anything in the first movie... A movie that I loved, but I’m a notorious coward when it comes to movies and it didn’t scare me at all.
I’m just not a fan of Pennywise’s design, I think. The old lady was freaking me out, but Pennywise shows his face and I almost roll my eyes.

I hope we get more actor Pennywise than CGI Pennywise this time around.
And less of the Pennywise rushing towards the camera thing as it stopped being scary and became simply annoying.

That was amazing.
Definitely hyped for this. The old lady scene was perfect.

Guessing they are following what happens in the book. It'd be kind of pointless to have Stan in a huge role considering what happens in the book.

I wonder how many people are going to be disappointed that this film will be more psychologically based in horror than jump scares/gore? There were certain instances in the trailer where I could tell where they were from the book. {Spoiler}Mike slowly turning around while in the library is obviously his second encounter with Henry. {Spoiler}Richie's memories with Pennywise and the Paul Bunyan statue. {Spoiler}Also wondering if they're going to include any of Beverly's marriage to Tom and him tracking her down in the process?

This looks phenomenal. I have to see this in the theater. I didn't see the first one in the theater and am definitely disappointed I didn't after watching it at home.

How many times did we see the initial build-up to that scene in the trailers?

In the book Beverly's encounter with Pennywise has her drinking feces before his old lady form begins to manifest his true nature. Wonder if they're going to go with the feces or keep it as blood just like the previous adaptation.
Obviously they had to cut out a lot or else the film would've been controversial with its content. I hope they don't go the route of showing Henry and Patrick torturing and murdering animals as kids. That would most likely be the deal breaker for me as far as watching it is concerned.

I heard a rumour (so take it with a grain of salt) that this will feature the Adrian Melon scene, which especially today is as controversial as you can get.

It was hard to tell, but there might've been a shot of it in the second trailer with the drowning man.

Caught a few scenes that could be from the book that we haven't seen yet. Pretty sure I saw the Smoke-hole in there but I could be mistaken. I hope I'm not.

Also I'm sure that's where the shot of all of those balloons from underneath the bridge comes from too. On another note, I can't wait for people who have seen Chapter One and not read the book to be utterly weirded out and confused whenever we get to the endgame. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Like the Ritual of Chüd, and Maturin.
