Damn. It's between the End and revolver Ocelot.
The End and Ocelot are both serious favs. The End, since he's an old veteran. And Ocelot, because he's badass.

Ocelot.
He's the only one to survive an encounter.
Plus he's cooler than he has any right to be.
Someone type up his speech.

Ocelot is the ONLY MGS boss to be in ALL 3 games so far(even though you don't really fight him in MGS2). He will be in MGS4, but he is no longer Revolver Ocelot, but rather Liquid Ocelot.

Hell, most of them are more badass than bosses in other games.
But against each other? That's tough.
As far as greatest boss battle, I have to go with The End. It's encounters like that that remind you why you're so damn lucky to be a gaming fan.
As far as my favorite and IMO most bas-ass boss though, that goes to Ocelot. Awesome gimmick, awesome name, awesome voice, awesome backstory, he just seals it. Hell, he's probably the most badass character of the series behind Solid Snake.

Ocelot. Usually it'd be too close to call, but in Ocelot's case the player has watched him evolve from cocky youngster to cunning, deceiving veteran. Not to mention, he's been an antagonist since his birth it seems.

Not to mention, he's been an antagonist since his birth it seems. One of the most surreal things when playing MGS3 was fighting Ocelot when he first started using the revolver. Seeing how hard of a time he had with it after seeing for the two previous games how much of a master he was at it was pretty cool as a fan. THAT is character development.

I loved Ocelot in 3. Mantis was also badass. I am going to swerve you though and say The Boss. She had so much emotional attachment to snake and after snake wins it was such a bitter sweet ending.

Which Ocelot boss battle is it we're voting for?

Seeing Ocelot evolving from doing tricks with weak pistols to mastering the Revolver was worth it.....also, Ocelot basically making a revolver rifle at the end of the game(adding a stock and other things to it), AND the fact that if you choose the correct gun in the standoff against Ocelot on the plane would unlock his revolver for YOUR own use....let's face it, next to Solid Snake, Ocelot is the biggest symbol of the MGS series.

Which Ocelot boss battle is it we're voting for? All of them, because he's had more than 1.

Where's the End love? Awesome boss battle. We love The End as well, it is just, most of us find Ocelot's badassness to be too much.
