RIP, NC was always part of my childhood. Even if not everyone from it has been a perfect lady or gentleman to me/my friends when we met.

I still have his book, "Games You Can't Lose", which I got from Johnson Smith (the "Things You Never Knew Existed" catalog full of goofy stuff you can easily find at Spencer's Gifts these days). I always win at tic-tac-toe now, thanks to Harry.

I always win at tic-tac-toe now, thanks to Harry. Never seen that book, but one of my favorite things when looking at 80s or earlier comics is the Johnson Smith ads. As a kid I would look at those ads for what seemed to be hours. Trying to figure out what I wanted to order. A few years ago a book was published about all the old cheesy stuff you could buy thru ads in comics. Mail Order Mysteries is the title of the book. It is a great read and worth tracking down. After decades of wondering I learned what the atomic powered kid sized Submarine really was.
