I'm wondering if Terrence Howard is kicking himself right now. I prefer Don Cheadle anyway.

Everyone talks about Terence Howard and Edward Norton, meanwhile Ty Burrell played Doc Samson in INCREDIBLE HULK 10 years ago, and not ONE OF YOU has been clamoring for him to come back!
God, how weird would it be to see Phil Dunphy from Modern Family all muscled up with a green ponytail fighting crime?!

Well, pre-transformation Leonard Samson, but still.

Watched this a second time today and noticed a couple things. For one, I've seen a lot of people say that Strange vanished while the group crowded on Thanos and he could have stopped Quill from breaking the trance, but Strange was actually holding onto Thanos' right arm. Drax had his legs and Tony and Peter were trying to get the Gauntlet off. They just didn't show Strange as much, but he was there. Nebula actually is the one who could have stopped Quill. Not sure if that's been mentioned yet, but I noticed it.
Also really glad the memes haven't ruined the ending for me. Seeing everyone just evaporate into dust still was chilling and now that we know what Groot's final "I am Groot" meant, his death is all the sadder!

I saw it again this week and still found the ending heartbreaking, even with the "I don't feel so good" becoming a meme.

The fact that Rocket, who has already had so little go well in his life before the Guardians, lost Groot again was probably as big of a gutpunch as Tony losing Peter for me. Finding our what Groot said didn't help at all.

I'm wondering if Terrence Howard is kicking himself right now. I truthfully look at everything that Rhodey has done through all of the movies and I just can't picture Terrence in the role now. Cheadle made it his own, and was so great. Him getting Bruce to bow in front of T'Challa just sold how much I love that man.

Rhodey in the first movie comes across as Tony's whiney little buddy that gets made fun of and never gets a comeback. Cheadle's Rhodey pretty much gives as good as he gets.

I can see Rocket pumping up the bravado in order to hide his grief from the others. Then he opens up midway through the film.

So, on the supposed plot of Avengers 4 and time travel and stuff, I wonder if they may recruit a villain or two along with the fallen heroes? I mean, Ronan was pretty dang strong. And had a bone to pick with Thanos.
Just kicking the can around.

They sacked up and eliminated Spider-Man (even with a super schmaltzy vanishing scene, because Stan Lee influence). Oh how happy I was when that occurred.
This was the first movie in a long time where the villain won and the consequences could actually be felt. Whether they will stick with this, I don't know. But it was a GREAT ending and I was satisfied.

I got pissed at the dissolving meme, because really if anyone knows their comic lore, then Facebook pages posting it and people screaming in the comments "OMG Infinty War Spoilers" ruins the ending. Though TBH I tried to avoid the comic version and the trailers so I thought it was gonna be Hawkeye dying, not half the characters

The villain has a time and reality altering magic space glove, and the individual superheroes have films that make a billion dollars in some cases. Should be a heck of a ride though. I wonder how traumatized some children are after seeing that.

The problem is, the movie is a prequel from the 90's, that's why Ronan is back in the movie, more than likely in a pre-Accuser role. This is the problem with Marvel movies, every true villain is pretty much dead save for Zemo and the Vulture, and I don't see them being much help. Really, if the Fox/Disney deal shakes out in time for them to start building it up, this would be a perfect opportunity to bring in the F4 in the Surprise Spider-Man in Civil War role. But I doubt they will, as they've already got A4 in the can and there's been no leak about anyone being directly cast as the team.
