I always thought he was Libertarian. He is. Many Libertarians caucus with the Republican Party instead of running for office under the Libertarian Party banner.

I like how one of the stories refers to him as an Ex-WWE Superstar. Yeah right. Kane is here forever.

So if he wins the actual election, can WWE remake WWF Betrayal in the style of Final Fight, and have Kane be the Haggar of the game (ex wrestler Mayor playable character)?

I have no interest in seeing Kane win this election for reasons that I can't discuss.
Kane the wrestler is alright as long as he retires.

Okay Knox County, should the election be decided by:
1. A No holds barred match? 2. A No-disqualification match? or 3. A Knox County street fight?

In true Kane fashion, he will switch party affiliations at least 15 times before his term is over, should he become mayor.

In true Kane fashion, he will switch party affiliations at least 15 times before his term is over, should he become mayor. "Alright, Mayor Kane. What's your stance on Budget Proposition 47?" "I vote 'Yes'.""Right, with Mayor Kane's 'Yes' vote the bill..." "Did I say 'Yes'?. I meant 'No'.""But you said 'Yes'." "And I stand by that.""Oh-kay. So your vote is 'Yes' then?"" "No."

So, there are like 42 provisional ballots out there to potentially count, but reports state that seems unlikely. If he wins, he'll almost certain win the general election because Knox County Republicans outnumber Democrats like 5 to 1.
Very interesting times, just another weird day in American politics

The only thing worse would be if Val Venis got elected something somewhere.

I thought Kane would be a Demoncrat. He's been wearing red for about two decades straight. What made you think he'd go blue for politics? Well, he almost went green for that stint with DX back in 99.

Pretty embarrassing. At least Jesse Ventura ran as an independent and had more to offer than fried-over Ayn Rand garbage. Indeed. As much as I like Kane, and respect Glenn Jacobs, I feel sorry for any people he may end up being mayor over. No one needs that "bootstraps" nonsense.

I wish Kane had developed an "obnoxious candidate running for office" persona in WWE over the last several years instead of "mildly scary tubby guy in a singlet doing the same shtick as always". Corporate Kane evolving into that would've been pretty entertaining.
