Man, if Hogan just gave a nice, heartfelt apology he could comeback and probably be pretty much welcomed back. That has troubled me. Call me naive or living in a bubble, but I don’t think Hogan is a card carrying racist. I think he said some dumbass, gross shit in an extremely weird situation, but I feel him on the “judge me on my actions” sentiment. But, damnit man, just apologize. Give a real, heartfelt apology. He has had his guard up with every half hearted apology to this day, like he just doesn’t get it. He needs to be vulnerable and own up to this, and he refuses. The public wants to forgive him, by and large. He has been his own worst enemy on this.

as I mentioned in the last thread when I mentioned Hogan hasn't apologized. he hasn't.
He's given these Half-assed non-pologies that prove he has no idea why people are angry or upset with him to begin with.
Regardless dude has little to no value today still. He can't wrestle, he stumbles over his lines, he can barely walk... I mean he can probably get a nice one off return pop...but NO ONE is buying a ticket to see Hulk Hogan talk at a wrestling show in 2018.

His shock and anger felt about as real as a wrestling moment can feel. As far as Hulk, not sure why he can’t just admit fault and move on. We all know these public apologies are meaningless as the person apologizing isn’t going to change his or her views and it’s done entirely for optics but for whatever reason Hulk can’t even fake a sincere apology. It’s not hard man. It will get people off your back and you can work again even if you never change your views. This dude needs a PR team. |

Like, he obviously knows he said the N-word and thinks that's it, but the context actually makes it a lot worse than that. Though, that does also mean Bubba the Love Sponge has all of it committed to memory, probably. |
