Would YOU begin cheering Reigns if he turned heel?

So Roman/WWE logic says that since Roman already gets heavily boo'd that he is a "bad guy" to those particular fans (us hardcore/internet smarks), and there is no reason to "officially" turn him heal if he is getting heal reactions as it stands anyways. I don't think they are necessarily wrong in their logic.

So, if story-line wise/character wise he officially turned heel, would you begin to then cheer Reigns?

Wouldn't that be counter-intuitive if they gave us what we want, then we give him babyface reactions, thus making him a good-guy?

Maybe at a point if he got more interesting but in the moment he'd still have several years worth of bad will and shitty matches to hold against him.

I have Roman fatigue at this point. I don't know if I would enjoy his booking better if he was a heel or not, though if he found his niche as a heel I don't think it would hurt.

If he's a well booked heel who lets his personality through and comes off more real for it? Yeah. If we get this garbage heap but Michael Cole stops deepthroating him out of some kind of "FINE BOO HIM THEN" it's not really fixing a lot of the problems and I need more.

I would rather he just went away for a long while.

He could suck just as badly as a heel.

But my answer is still No. Alberto Del Rio was an awful face who turned heel. But he was still awful.

Based solely on the fact that he's a heel now? No.

If he displays a consistent and interesting character as a result of said heel turn? That's more likely.

Immediately, no.

Maybe over time the new direction will result in a character I'd want to cheer for, but right now it seems the best way to draw money with him is to play off the years of fan frustration resulting from his forced babyface booking. While not the original plan, that vitriol can still be channeled into killer heel heat, if crazy old Vince can get over his stubbornness.

They're dangerously close to missing the boat, though. They need to do it while the boos are strong, and before we start seeing more walkouts and apathetic chants.

You can boo heels with a smile on your face, if they're doing good work. But your can't cheer crappy babyfaces. Reigns would get booed out of most buildings, by fans who were just grateful that the WWE finally listened.

I originally had some fun with the "Roman vs. the fans" dynamic, but now I am just thoroughly bored of the whole thing now. Completely.

I'd just rather if both him and Lesnar could just leave the company right now, vacate the Universal title, have a tournament or a battle royal for it, and forget the past few years altogether.

It doesn't matter if he's a face or a heel now. He's just flat out not over, because he's booked like a choker. He needs to start winning more decisively.
