Going to this show on Saturday. Gonna be filming and other stuff.

Main event should be good. Right at 4 years ago Vordell and Dalton had a match at the same place.



No idea what other matches will happen. But John Saxon and Antonio Garza are great in the ring. Garza is the guy I got my Dr Wagner Jr mask off of.

Anyways if any of yall happen to be at the show,come by the table and say the secret phrase "Batista is Basketball Jones" and get a discount.

Sometime either late Saturday or Sunday I will have all my video and pics uploaded. Planning on filming every match. And if I can do some pre-show interviews with various guys on the card.

Where do I know Vordell Walker from? Name is familiar for some reason.

In mid 2004 and early 2005, he was a failed ROH experiment. Early on he was Bryan Danielson & Samoa Joe's "mystery partner" in a trios tournament, and then gave lackluster performances after such a top level introduction. They stopped booking him.

Yep that was back when Vordell was battling "his demons". He has been clean for almost 10 years now.I keep hearing one of the reasons why Vordell never got a long run in ROH and TNA is for some reason Samoa Joe doesn't like Vordell. He first became known in the early 2000s cause on some FL indy show Rick Steiner tried to shoot on Vordell.

Plus he has appeared on Raw/Smackdown a few times. A few years ago on a Raw in TN,when Dean Ambrose was locked in a room. Vordell was the security guy that was suppose to stand in front of the door and make sure Dean didn't get out.

Add in that a few years ago Vordell looked a lot like Maven. Been told by a few friends that a few times that Vordell did extra work for WWE a few of the guys thought he was Maven.

He is one of the best wrestlers on the Deep South Indy scene. And is able to have a decent match with pretty much anyone.



Language Warning

This is the main event from the BIW show last Feb. Steve Anthony is best known for two things. First he beat Jushin Liger for the NWA Jr Heavywweight title at a CAC event a few years ago. And it was a match he had in LA that caused the LA commission to ban piledrivers. Steve has appeared on Raw and Smackdown a few times. And is another guy who if he was just 5 years younger would be in NXT.

In the video you will hear the crowd chanting "You gunna git it!" at Steve. The first time Steve wrestled in Brookhaven he came out and cut a promo about "How thanks to Common core all you rednecks are getting dumber!" So this kid in the front row shouted YOU GUNNA GIT IT at Steve. After that every show when Steve came out that kid and his friends would chant it at Steve. This Feb show was the first time BIW had been in Brookhaven in almost 3 years. So before the show I mentioned to Steve how I was gonna try to get a You Gunna GIT IT chant started. The same kids were there,now instead of being 8 or 9 they are in their early teens. If you watch closely you will see that Steve is trying to not laugh.

Jerimiah removes the mask when he wrestles. And is far from a Abyss impersonator. He wrestled for years ago Jeremy Awesome the Bourbon Street Brawler. And wasn't connecting with the crowd. So he started wearing overhauls and now does a crazy swamp man gimmick and is one of the most over wrestlers in MS/LA. Sadly a few years ago he injured his knee in a match and has never fully recovered. So he doesn't wrestle as much. But is still good in the ring.

Purple Haze was trained by Big Cat Curtis Hughes. And is a good wrestler. This was the first time Jeremy worked in BIW as Jeremiah. He reminds me a bit of Big Bossman. In that he is a big guy but can wrestle like a jr weight.

The poster looks professional. I think Vordell may have appeared on developmental for a cup of coffee.

Josh,the owner of BIW,makes sure his posters look good. AFAIK Vordell never was in development. I will ask him in A few hours when I see him.

Well back from the show.250+ people in the crowd. Some Damn good matches. Plus someone used the secret phrase and got a free item.

Only bad thing my car died on my way home. So gotta put it in the shop tomorrow. Will upload my pics and vids Sunday and Monday.

Thank you to the fellow FAN poster that came by the table.

BTW I asked Vordell,he got offered a developmental deal. But cause of his shoot job he turned it down.

Show looked professional, I wish more of these companies would instead of fn shindies and fake doinks. That way wrestling would be more profitable and the industry would grow as a whole.

The owner of BIW was taught by Dr Death Steve Williams. The first year of BIW's existence,years ago,Dr Death helped book the shows. And it shows. Josh books a nice mixture of Southern style matches,with sports entertainment matches,then makes sure to have at least one modern indy style match on the show.

Ok cause my fingers were sweaty I kept hitting the pause button on my camera. So the main event got split into 3 parts.

Matt Riot vs Wesley Crane

Crane ended up selling a pile of merch during intermission and had piles of kids wanting pics with him. Was a bit shocked with how popular he was. I bet he will be back for the next show. Riot was decent. Never had heard of him and I ended up filming next to his sister.

Danny Chance,who is becoming a crowd favorite vs the debuting Jake O'Brien in the opening match of the show.

Jeremiah vs Antonio Garza

Jeremiah is a bit slower than he was 2 years ago,before a bad knee injury,but he can still have a good match. And is a great character. Garza impressed the crowd. And sold so many Sin Cara and Rey Jr masks at his table. When I saw his cheapest mask was 25 bucks I figured he might sell 2. He sold 5 before the show started.
