So in recent years, wwe signed a bunch of guys from tna....bobby roode, styles, Samoa joe, Eric young, sting, along with tna guys who had previously been in wwe like angle and the Hardys.
For a long time, wwe basically refused to sign any tna talent aside from those who had originally been in wwe (mick Foley, Booker t, Christian, goldust, hogan, etc) I believe a lot of solid talent missed a chance to work for see because Vince or the e refused to acknowledge tna or make it look like they were legit competition. Who through the years should have been signed by wwe?

Abyss when he had the chance. Lord, what a fumble by him in retrospect. Yeah he woulda been fed to Taker and then Cena later but he would have been at the top of the heel card for a bit and could have transitioned backstage since he's into that.

The Motor City Machine Guns seemed like the platonic ideal of this:
Kind of misused by TNA, probably would have added something to the WWE roster and given them a lynchpin tag team (or two good singles guys), but really the window for them to make the jump just quite happened to fall in line with the time between when WWE wasn't signing TNA guys. Now, by the time WWE is signing TNA (and New Japan) guys in it, Sabin and Shelley are just a little bit past their prime and would probably only be a couple solid 205 Live guys for them now.

Generation Me. Nip this Elite business in the bud before the seeds even get planted. They would have needed to move to heavyweight a lot sooner to interest anyone in WWE brass in the pre-NXT era.

If WWE then cared about tag teams (like actually having non jobber, credible tag teams) AMW back in the day. XXX as well. Maybe I'm just nostalgic revisiting that badass AMW/XXX cage match again lol.

Chris Masters, goddamn it. I'd be fine with him coming back tomorrow to be honest. Guys like him and MVP are missed by me.

There was that rumor at the time that WWE was wanting to sign a couple of guys (I remember Alex Shelley and Matt Morgan in particular) but their deals came up right when TNA filed that lawsuit against WWE for tampering, so it never came through.
The Guns would have been a great pickup for WWE.

Jay Lethal, I could see Vince liking his Savage and Flair impressions. Surprised he's still not signed.
Abyss would have been cool and especially the tags like MCMG, LAX and AMW.

I agree with the Jay Lethal comment, the guy has talent in abundance, doubt he would have been a main event player but definitely US Championship or Intercontinental Championship level.

Vince could have got super racist if he signed LAX. Mecicools mark 2.

Considering all the connections he has, I'm surprised Jay Lethal HASN'T ended up in a WWE ring.

AFAIK they'e never shown any interest in Homicide. I guess when he was at his peak he wouldn't have suited the product and is too old now.

The Guns would have been a great pickup for WWE. yeah Shelly was originally rumored for the Cruiserweight show... back in like 2012... but that was right around the time of the WWE telling TNA some guy was offering them contract information and TNA responding by trying to sue the WWE.
