Hey, Sci-Fi is having a Darkside marathon today! Such a great show, and one of the better episodes is on right now, A Case of the Stubborns.

Nothing beats Tales From the Darkside for great mindless TV-watchin'. A few weeks ago I got home at like 1:00 AM, TFTD was on, and I was up another hour watching it.

I love the opening lines:
Man lives in the sunlit world of what he believes to be reality. But, there is, unseen by most, an underworld, a place that is just as real, but not as brightly lit..... A DARKSIDE.

Are we talking about the force? No, it was an anthology series that aired from 1984-1988.

Man I remember being so freakin scared by the Crypt Keeper when I was a kid...wow...the shows however were a little on the corny side...Now this show which is basically a parody im guessing... Tales From The Hood www.imdb.com/title/tt0114609/was a riot

I use to love TFTD when I was a kid. I would watch it and old-school Ripley's when I got home from summer basketball camp.

I didn't scare easy as a kid, but that opening music/credits sequence creeped me the hell out. It was hard for someone to make brightly-lit forest area look as scary as they did, but they managed it.

Funny how that opening is really hardcore scary, but roughly 60% of the episodes themselves are fairly light hearted affairs.

The darkside is always there, waiting for us to enter, waiting to enter us. Until next time, try to enjoy the daylight.

The Radio Jockey turning into the Devil, that was great. I also remember a story about ten steps and no more tracks,in the winter and the person looking into it died the same way.
The intro freaked me out unimaginable. I grew up in the woods and I swear when the sun was going down every patch of tree looked like them.
