One of the best things of the Authority run. J&J security had fantastic beatdowns delivered to them.
The best one had to be the beat down from Sting and Orton on Raw.
The also took brutal beatdowns from Lesnar as well.
Singh brothers need to learn a thing or two from J&J.

Let it never be forgotten that Joey Mercury has a win over WWE Champion, Seth Rollins. Never got a title shot, damn it.

Still pop for that time Rollins stuck J&J on Ambrose and Dean just tags them on the mic with "hey, here comes the cruiserweight division."

What I remember most about J & J security is how it looked like Mercury shrunk in half since his MNM days.

I actually think the Singh brothers were told they'd never sell a beating as well as J and J and said 'hold my beer.' I think the Singhs have taken MUCH more brutal bumps than J and J ever did, and that's not to say J and J were any slouches, they took some rough shit.
And all of this in suit trousers, too.

The Mean Street Posse could take a beating better than anyone.
I still remember some of those beatings they took from the APA

Why did joey end up getting fired again? Guessing they just felt he ran his course in the stooge role, and with his history of drug abuse, they may have not wanted to give him a fulltime role, and he either may have not wanted a backstage role, or they could have felt that he wasn't going to fit for that for one reason or another. He seemingly does wrestle on the indies, though, hope he's doing well for himself. Last I heard, he was training at ROH's Baltimore Dojo they opened. Probably a good pick for ROH, considering they've never been the greatest at training their own guys. They've tended to rely on CHIKARA and elsewhere for that.

Joey Mercury was the master of the flying nothing into the RKO.
