I feel like both Storm and Roode had their biggest success in wrestling as part of the Beer Money tag team. And i'd even rank Beer Money as one of the top ten memorable tag teams within the next ten years in the business. And with the WWE seeming to always having gap periods for marketable tag teams, I figure them reforming is the best option for both.
Of course, Storm, reneged on a WWE opportunity a few years ago due to personal issues, but the never say never principle can always be applied to any situation.
Roode is on the main roster and floundering. His theme song was over for a while, and has seemed to run its course. Both these guy are over 40, which means their careers are winding down, so if Beer Money is going to have one final run, it has to happen soon, and now seems like the opportune time.
Overall, Beer Money reminds me of the New Age Outlaws in that as singles runs, they are so-so. But when paired together, there is a special chemistry.

Overall, Beer Money reminds me of the New Age Outlaws in that as singles runs, they are so-so. But when paired together, there is a special chemistry. Bobby Roode as the It Factor was awesome, and James Storm was great as a face, just that TNA screwed up his singles face run by having his title reign last just two weeks and by having the Bound for Glory 2012 match not being for the TNA world title. Storm as a face and Roode as the It Factor are both great, and Storm got TNA'ed. But as for a Beer Money WWE Run? Probably not, that ship has sailed. The WWE Tag Team division was buried this year, and the only team I would be interested in seeing them against looks like it's going to break up. I'd rather see Roode turn heel and become the It Factor again.

I would not mind it if it was just for a short while. It would not be the same because I doubt they would call it Beer Money due to the PG rating.

Even if they signed Storm, I seriously doubt they’d let him do the beer drinking gimmick due to it not being the image they want of the wrestlers and it being too close to Stone Cold’s gimmick when he does make appearances.
In addition, there are too many teams who get nothing to do, I can’t imagkne them adding another one to that mix.

Only if they keep the theme song.

Good point. Now that I thought about it, during the last New Age Outlaws run, they removed "ass" from the theme song, so if they kept the Beer Money theme, they'd probably remove "damn" from it.

I'd be cool with it, but I was never huge on the team, myself. Then again, I've never been like the hugest James Storm and Robert Roode fan, either.

Sure, I like the team, I like Bobby and I like James. My annoyance with James Storm going back to TNA and not sticking with TNA is that he could have been here on the main roster at Bobby's level already.

I was under the impression that it was the schedule, that was the issue, not really the cash.

no, just because the WWE can't use the tag teams it already has. If Bobby was still in NXT maybe... but main roster? Absolutely not. Look at how they handled sure things like American Alpha, the Revival... and currently the Authors of Pain who are ALREADY on Main Event. I was under the impression that it was the schedule, that was the issue, not really the cash. It was the money. Dixie offered him a ton of money on a new contract. The time wouldn't have been huge since he was looking for an NXT contract which time and money isn't the same as a Main one.

They were booked as a super team in TNA. They wouldn't get that booking in WWE a and nor should they. We can't just expect something successful under completely different circumstances YEARS ago to work in the same way. By that logic AMW would be a hit too.

By that logic AMW would be a hit too. America's Most Wanted can't reform - one of it's members became Braden Walker.
