So many to choose from depending on what era I'm in the mood for, but keeping it to the Attitude Era - Current timeline, my favorite is Rock vs Triple H at Backlash 2000. Just a chaotic match that finally paid back the entire McMahon/Helmsley Faction for nearly every shitty thing they had done the previous six months. Some of the loudest pops you'll ever hear take place during that match. In a lot of ways, that's the height of wrestling for me - it's the climax point to one of my favorite all-encompassing storylines and provides a genuine babyface triumph. I never get tired of it.

My three favorite matches are ones that I was at live.
Piper vs Orton at The Brendan Byrne Arena. It was part of the build up for Piper vs. Adonis at WM3. That feud was white hot and the match was exactly what you'ld expect, a straight out take no prisoners brawl. Then it spilled ot to the floor and Piper just starts beating Orton mercilessly. I didn't have to suspend belief, I seriously thought Piper had lost it. Then he takes it to another level. He slams Orton head into the old style barricades (the ones that look like a bike rack) and runs him up the aisle like a cheese grater. You could actually see Orton's face bounce off every "spoke," He then throws him across to the other side and brings him bac the same way. By this time the ref had stopped the match and the back had emptied with everybody trying to pull those two apart.
Hogan vs Bossman at MSG on a Sunday afternoon. What made this so special is I was actually with a date who loved wrestling as much as I did. We had noticed two seats empty in the front row, Corner seats on the entrance ramp. So we snuck down and got away with it. Then i get into a shouting match with Slick in the middle of the match. I've never seen the video, but it was broadcasted on the MSG network.
WrestleMania 4's Tournament final. Macho had wrestled three times, Dibiase only two. And he had Andre at ringside. It seemed hopeless, then Miss Elizabeth runs to the back and brings Hogan back and the place went bananas. It was the biggest pop I've ever heard. I still get chills thinking about it.
Honorable Mention's
Rumble 92. The only match I can say I'm glad I wasn't there live, cause I would have missed Heenan's and Monsoon's perfect commentary. And that wouldn't have been fair to Flair.
Piper vs Valentine Dog Collar match. The only reason that's so low is that I saw it years later on the piper video.

Ultimate Warrior vs Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania VI
Nothing beats that atmosphere and the epic feel of the bout.

Hard to narrow it down to one:
Hogan vs. Andre-WM3, it wasn't a technical masterpiece but it didn't have to be, the story helped made this match.
Steamboat vs. Savage-WM3: I must have rented WM3 a s***load of times from the video store for this match also.
HBK vs. HHH-Raw 12/29/03.
Rock vs. HHH-Backlash 2000-Rock finally getting the upper hand on Triple-H and the McMahon family was a great way to end a great card, this should have happened at Mania 2000,IMO.
Royal Rumble 1992.

For me, its gotta be TLC 2012 The Shield vs. Team Hell No and Ryback at the new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. It took place a mile from my home. The Shield debut was one of the roughest matches ever.

I'm throwing RVD/Cena from ONS2 out there as well. this is the one for me. I despised Cena and this match was beyond cathartic.

Before that match, wrestling was just wrestling. But 10 year old me cried at the thought of never seeing either of my favourites ever again. I had no idea that they could come back. That sounded like a ridiculous notion.

First that came to mind for me was Hunter vs Bryan at WM30. Two of my favorites in an amazingly hot feud and they our performed everyone and they were in the opener! . I have a soft spot for Sami/Nakamura since I was there live. Great match that had that little bit extra by being in that crowd.
Also have to mention the Hardy/Taker later match from Raw. Everyone and everything was clicking that night.

Edge vs John Cena - Unforgiven 2006. Edge was on fire at the time, and I would say he was Jern's best opponent in regard to character, the chemistry and how well they meshed.

HBK/Taker WM 25. Until Lesnar beat Taker this was the only I really believed Taker could lose, every time HBK kicked out I was on the edge of my seat. WWE hadn't really done many finisher spam matches before so every time one of them kicked out it was a holy shit moment for me.

Triple H v Rock at Backlash 2000
A great ending seeing Triple H get his payback from all of those that he has wronged. It's a thing of beauty.

I’ll do it by era. These are the ones that I chose off the top of my head.
Golden Age Era (1982-1993) - Hogan vs. Warrior
New Generation Era (1993-1997) - Austin vs. Bret Mania 13
The Attitude Era (1997-2001) - Austin vs. Rock Mania 17
Ruthless Aggression Era (2002-2008) - Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit - Royal Rumble 2003
PG Era (2008-Present) - Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels - Mania 25
