Everyone talks about his booking tenure in mid south in the 80s but was he ever considered for a Booker job in wcw/nwa?

I'm sure he was considered, but whether it ever went beyond a simple thought, I dunno. I'm convinced his tenure there in 1990 as Sir William was almost certainly him trying to jockey for a booking spot in the still-evolving early days of the WCW office if it was available and headed back to Tennessee when it didn't happen.
He did book for Georgia though, so *technically* he booked WCW, it was just before it became WCW.

I feel he would have been a good change as opposed to dusty being booker again

He was on the committee in WCW at times, so it's not like they totally didn't use him in that capacity. But the committees were a mess.

I think Regal mentioned in his book that apart from being his manager, Dundee was in the booking comitee for a time.
