An Appreciation Thread for the crown princess of the WWE's facial expressions during the RAW contract signing (I'm just now rewatching the DVR of RAW/SDLive/205/will see NXT live tonight to catchup due to summer vacationing) These are the best images I could find quickly, but the entire end of the segment she was comedy gold in the background I was cracking up nonstop!

Other than the shitty promos Ronda and Nia are going to cut on each other, Just Joe Stephanie stirring shit up is going to be the best part of this whole build.

I enjoy Steph when she's got a bit of whimsy. It also helps that she's got a much more understandable reason to be stirring shit than when she was backing Charlotte for... honestly, no real reason, given it wouldn't have been for Ric's sake, as Charlotte had rebuked Ric, anyway.
Here, though, makes more sense.

It's insane how much Vince she has in her, it's not utilized right very often but she's such a great performer.

It's insane how much Vince she has in her, it's not utilized right very often but she's such a great performer. She's got heel heat like Vickie Guerrero when she wants to be a bitch, and she is much more comfortable as an Authority figure than say Kurt Angle is at running RAW at the same time. To have her intertwined with the Women's Championship feud between essentially rookies, I think, is a pretty smart move. Her and Ronda make for a very close dynamic as that of Vince/Stone Cold I would say.

If she dialed the ALPHA FEMALE way down, went a little further down her dad's route of getting routine comeuppance (maybe not as ridiculous as Vince got most of the time, though) and every once in awhile flashed that "Dorky Mom" natural charm she sometimes lets slip in segments with Hunter or Shane, this board would fall in love with her instantaneously. She's a tremendous performer who's fixated on an awful character.

Stephanie during the Attitude Era was a great character who let talent get one over on her many times. Granted it was easier back then since she could take a fake wrestling move from a man and not have sponsors and faux outraged fans causing a hissy fit but she was definitely female Vince back then.
Now she is female HHH post-2002. Rousey appears to be her Batista. The one and only person she will put over.

Yeah, I liked the idea that Stephanie knew a friendly match between Ronda and Nia wouldn’t be much of a draw, so she got them after each other so there’s some actual tension.
