Ah the baby oil boys club.
What an awful year for Raw.

I know it's an unpopular opinion on here but the only time I've ever been entertained by Cody is when he was doing Stardust, they should have done more with him and the ascentiln as the cosmic wasteland that had tons of potential imo.

Yeah he showed he had some charisma with that gimmick. While he usually looked like a gay pornstar.

Maybe the whole Legacy storyline was really just an extended critique of nepotism?

I thought Ted Jr. had a huge upside potential, but just never clicked. The biggest misstep with him was not having him turn on Orton on that one episode where the crowd was hot for him. Nobody ever gave a shit about him again after that. Don't forget that RAW where Orton gave Dusty a completely unnecessary RKO, triggering Cody, while the crowd started chanting "Let's go Cody Cena." Then the following week Cody's like, "yeah, dad probably deserved it." Legacy was the ultimate cock block stable of teasing in-group tensions.

Imagine the alternate timeline in which Cody was let go because of "backstage attitude" problems and Manu became Dashing.

Imagine the alternate timeline in which Cody was let go because of "backstage attitude" problems and Manu became Dashing. Here's the thing: If Multiverse theory is true(and I believe it is), then somewhere out in the great, wide, who knows what, there is at least ONE universe where Manu is a former WWE Champion.

Ted was one of many guys who had no business being face. Such as Slick,Adam Bomb,The Bodydonnas,The Miz etc. Guys who were too good at being heels or were just too naturally unlikable. I actually disagree with this. For me, the most natural Ted Jr. ever felt was during his “DiBiase Posse” era. The guy just did not fit the trust fund kid persona at all, and felt much more at home as an everyman.
