In the minority but I like Brock as the end boss. It makes it far more meaningful when he eventually loses. I have never been bothered by the part time full time debate. The universal title shouldn’t exist though. Agreed with liking him as the end boss. There has never, ever in the history of wrestling been a more believable end boss than Lesnar. All I ask is for his matches to involve more than 2 moves. We all know he's capable. Enough with suplex city already.

Yeah, Lesnar could have been the perfect "end boss" wrestling character, but I think this was hurt in a couple of ways:
-While there's a great argument to be made that top champions shouldn't be on the show as often as a means of elevated the prestige and mystery, as it were, of the big title, it doesn't help that when Brock isn't on air he's pretty much a non-entity, rather than a looming presence. Also, if you're going to have a "final boss", you should have other "tiers" of wrestlers beneath that, with each tier being depicted a bit differently; in this case, though, Brock is the only one on the roster booked this way, so it just kind of makes everybody else look like a schmuck for showing up to work every week and getting stale.
-A "final boss" only really works if you can build up a climactic confrontation in people's minds that they can start getting excited over and willing to pay money to see, usually by having the person who'll dethrone Brock go through a compelling narrative or arc that builds anticipation. That was clearly meant to be Roman Reigns, and it's also clear that WWE had no backup plan if Reigns didn't get over the way they wanted him to. The effect is pretty much ruined when that's the case.
