The polls aren't entirely anonymous. Mods can see who votes. Also, I just want to see the other side's point of view. we can't. Good! *makes a "Is Vert the biggest meanie mod in the history of the world?" poll and votes yes*

Really? On a Proboards forum that I mod, there's a little thing to click that says "View poll voters." Guess you guys don't have it here. I was wrong. It all depends on how the admin sets the board up.

They dont bother me whatsoever, I've always subscribed to the logic of "If you dont like it/it doesnt interest you, but its not hurting you, just ignore it" With that said, IM is a much more efficient way of conversation

The polls aren't entirely anonymous. Mods can see who votes. Also, I just want to see the other side's point of view. I can only see who has voted, but not who voted for what. So here's what we do. You take the number of people who have voted yes, then divide it in half. Multiply this number by the number of people total who have voted. then, take all names of those who have voted containing the ltter "r" and divide that number by the product from the last multiplication. Use this number to crack the code for the safe on the thrid floor of the Carrington Institute, and inside you will find the treasure that you seek.

I started to do the math on this, then I read further down. Very clever, I tip my Belmont Park baseball cap to you.

I've read through a few of these, and I have to say that if you think the threads are all useless spaming and post whoring than you are missing the point entirely.

Don't bother me, there's only one at any given time, and it's easy enough to avoid if I don't wanna see it.

Never bothered me... but then again, I'm not bothered by having 5 tournament threads on the 1st page... to each his/her own, I guess.

I don't have a problem with them, but having one every so often cheapens the feel.

What's the big idea here? As one of the chat thread's main posters, this thread pisses me off. My opinion---the chat threads are fine.
